Story
Hi, my sister and I rescued Mars from a neglectful home situation he was put in a kennel upwards of 20 hours a day. Because of that he hates kennels but he general does well being left out, he does have a bit of separation anxiety though. He is super sweet and playful and incredibly smart he picks up on things super fast. He is so loveable and is amazing with cats, dogs, and kids! My sister and I just can't afford to keep him and we don't have the time to keep up with his puppy energy and needs. He is a high energy dog who thrives in training and routine, his natural herding instinct is strong as well. He would make a great family dog! And yes his adoption fee is $0 we just want him to have a good home!

Story
Crate trained/in process of: Sleeps in X pen, crate training in progress Doggy door trained: No Leash trained: Walks well on leash, does not pull Knows any tricks: Not yet Likes: Sniff walks, beginner herding games, tug of war, independent play time, cuddles, scratches anywhere, bones and toys Dislikes: Currently working on exposure to barking dogs and fast cars Must haves: Several walks a day, even short ones. She’s a puppy and has puppy energy. Another must have — lots of toys. She can entertain herself for hours with toys. Apartment dog: She can be if she gets lots of outside exercise. Fun facts: She is the best traveler! She almost immediately goes into a deep sleep during car trips. Ideal home: A patient home with a family who understands she’s young and still getting used to this domestic world. Experience with herding breeds is a plus, along with a desire to train her. She could be in a home with or without a dog. Our older dog gives her confidence in certain situations, but she’s also very independent and self-entertains. At this stage, she would do best in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods of time, as she continues to decompress. https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code

Story
Courtesy Post – Meet Diamond! 🐶 This beautiful baby needs a loving home! Diamond is a 65 pound collie mix. She is spayed as well as microchip and does very well in a kennel. She has not been indoors so unsure if she is housebroken or not. She does like to dig a bit and chew on things but we have given her enrichment toys to keep her attention and energy at bay when kenneled. She does very well on a leash and really loves water. she does well around other dogs but we have not seen her interact with any cats. She is a huge cuddle bug and does like to jump up to give ‘hugs’ and get head pats. We are working on her recall but for starters she does know the sit command! Very loving girl. Unfortunately, we do not have space to take them in, so we are hoping to find loving homes through this courtesy post. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Carbon or Diamond, please reach out to Joey Gonzalez at 602-535-9400. Let’s find these sweet pups their forever home! ❤️ https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code

Story
Hi there, I'm Ruby—and I'm ready to love you forever. I’m about 2 years old, a mixed breed girl with a heart full of snuggles and a nose that’s always ready for kisses. Life hasn’t always been easy—I was found wandering the streets with my brother Rusty, scared and unsure of the world. But then we landed at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and wow… they gave us love, safety, and belly rubs. Total game-changer. I’ve had a couple of homes since then. The first one was lovely, but there was a little dog there who just didn’t vibe with me. Same thing happened in the second home. So now I’m back at the rescue, hoping third time’s the charm. This time, I’m asking for a home with no little dogs, please. I get along great with people and big dogs—I just need a space where I can be my best self. &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what I bring to the table: I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all my shots I walk like a pro on leash and I’m house trained I’m super smart and love learning new things I’m obsessed with squeaky toys, tasty treats, and cozy dog beds I’ve got a gorgeous reddish coat, white-tipped toes, a sweet red nose, and eyes that’ll melt your heart. I weigh around 40–50 pounds and while no one knows exactly what breeds are in my mix, I’ve heard whispers of Australian shepherd and red nose Staffordshire terrier. Honestly? I’m just Ruby. One of a kind. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly goofy best friend, I’m your girl. I promise to make you laugh, keep you company, and love you with everything I’ve got. Come meet me at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Just email mike@caaronline.org to set up a visit. I’ll be waiting—with tail wags and hopeful eyes. Love, Ruby   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail. All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.
