He is very easy and undemanding to care for, loves being petted, cuddles and belly scratches but will wait patiently until you are available to do so, is quiet, would be ideal for someone who works from home, let’s you know if he would like to go outside, rarely barks. Likes walks and hikes, very friendly with people and dogs. Loves water and laying in soft grass. He is doing very well, not grabbing treats anymore, not resource guarding, going outside on his own and even letting us know when he’d like to. We're blessed to have had Jaxx for 7 years, he just turned 8 in October. We would love to find him a home with a senior seeking a companion, a couple, a person with another dog, or a family. Jaxx is incredibly patient and kind. We have 2 young children and he has been nothing but sweet despite their playful curiosities that sometimes end in accidental tugs. Unfortunately my youngest daughter has an allergy we've tried everything for and we're unable to keep him, but we're optimistic he will find the perfect home with you. As I said, Jaxx is incredibly patient with kids, does great with other dogs at the dog park, and walks/jogs well on a leash (though not as fast as when he was a younger dog). He would love to snuggle in bed with you if you desire that, however, if that is not comfortable for you, he is also so happy on his own comfy bed. He has an incredible ability to attune and understand what the house rules are (i.e.- kitchen is a boundary, etc.) and is an emotional companion

We rescued Murphy from a kill shelter after we found out he would be euthanized for fear and anxiety within the shelter. We are hopeful that we can find a loving home for him that is both full of adventure and lazy mornings. He is a super friendly pup but still has some puppy-like behaviors like nipping at your hands when he wants your attention. He’s learning quickly, though! He is house trained and is going to make an incredible dog with some love and attention. We do think he would be best in a family with no kids or older kids, as we don’t have solid proof that he would do well with small children. He is crate trained and house trained.

Papa is an intelligent, happy, and easy to train one-year-old border collie mix pup. He enjoys long walks, fetch, dog park hangs, and swimming. Papa comes from a loving and caring home where he has been house-broken (he never has any accidents in the house!), kennel-trained, regularly socialized, and neutered. Unfortunately, the circumstances of my life have changed, and I have to find this good boy a new and loving home. Papa is a larger pup, weighing about 60lbs., that would best complement a couple or a family with an ample outdoor space who is active and familiar with dogs- because Papa is a "dog's dog!" - He is happy and very excited with kids. - Knows some commands like "sit," "paw," and "down." - LOVES TOYS! $150 adoption fee. We told Vanilla Ice that we were going to take his picture so we can post him online so we can find him a new family. His response was to go play in the biggest mud puddle he could find! Then he said, "I'm ready, let's do this!" Vanilla Ice was picked up by animal control, living under a manufactured home in a nearby town with his siblings. Best guess is that he is a heeler/husky cross by looking at him and his siblings. We never saw his mom so it is just a best guess. The whole litter was very shy, and we had to put in some extra work to get them to be friendly and social with humans and they are doing great now. They are ready to find their new homes now. Finn was found in Paradise Valley with his girlfriend. They landed on a nice family's doorstep. After taking them to the vet and checking the microchip, the found both are chipped but not registered to the correct owners. A week later, we decided these sweet pups need to find their forever homes. They are well behaved, respond to commands and a breeze to walk on leash. They were found with new collars, new leashes and well taken care of.
