Story
Gunther is a sweet, sensitive, devoted, 12ish year old boy that's young at heart and weighs about 40 lbs.  He can be a bit bossy and possessive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, but he's been really good with the Chihuahua that he's been fostered with, and he loves to run and play with a female friend of his that's about his size.  He also does very well being the only dog, and would love to have a human or two that he doesn't have to share with anyone else and a big yard to run around in.  He had a benign anal tumor removed about a year ago, but recovered quickly and completely.  He's been chipped, neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Gunther's adoption fee is $275, with a $21 PACC license transfer fee. he is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. Please fill out an adoption application here http://tucsoncoldwetnoses.com/adoptable-pets/adoption-application/ to meet Gunther or email info@tucsoncoldwetnoses.com with any questions  *Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required.  Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption.   Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s). Meet Tad – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Loyal Companion!Tad is a 1-year, 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his brain. Born in our rescue after his mom was surrendered with her litter of seven, Tad has grown into a peaceful, intelligent, and incredibly loving soul. When Tad looks into your eyes, you can feel his gentle spirit and sharp mind. He's a playful goof with his foster siblings—wrestling, chewing toys, occasionally sneaking a sock or shirt from the laundry for a little mischief. After playtime, you’ll often find him curled up in his kennel or sprawled out on a dog bed, soaking in a well-earned nap.Tad is both house-trained and crate-trained, and he thrives on structure and routine. He enjoys sunny backyard days, splashy fun in the water, and quiet evenings watching Netflix by your side. While he’s a cuddle bug at heart, Tad also has energy to burn and would love a home with space to run—he and his brother could go for miles!Because of his sensitive and thoughtful nature, Tad would do best in a home without small children. He hasn’t been around cats yet, so introductions should be slow and supervised. He’s formed a strong bond with his foster family, so his forever family will need to be patient and loving as he settles in.Tad is ready for his forever adventure—with someone who understands his heart and gives him the space, fun, and affection he deserves. Could that be you? Apply to adopt Tad today on our website!   ##2062567##

Story
Wrigley and Lucky are bonded sisters who get along great! Lucky is 10 and Wrigley is 8. They are sweet girls who love attention and to be a part of everything you are doing. They are housebroken and they will let you know when someone is at your door. They will bark for a minute or two and will have to make them stop or they will keep going. When you leave, they will bark and howl for about 5 minutes if someone is here and gets them to stop, or for 10-15 minutes of no one is home They will not try to run out of the door when it is opened, and they love car rides. Wrigley will try to be on your lap or passenger seat and Lucky likes to be on the floor of the van. We don't usually crate them, but they have been before and are fine with it. They get along with children of all ages and Lucky is fine with other dogs. Wrigley does not get along well with other dogs, especially if there is a treat or rawhide she is trying to hide and save. Wrigley seems to go after the female dog primarily, but has also had issues with the male dog at times. Both girls sleep on the bed with you, if you put Lucky on there as she cannot jump the height of the bed (but can on the couch). Lucky has a collapsing trachea that she takes medicine for it every 8 hours and does well on them, but late at night when she is super relaxed, she has to cough or hack up loudly for a few minutes and a few times and then is fine. She also has to take heart medication 2 times a day. We are trying to walk her to get the weight down now that is is getting cooler. Wrigley is 16/17 lbs and Lucky is around 30 but could definitely stand to lose weight. Lucky likes to go into small trash cans and pull out anything she can eat and rip apart, and they both will try to get your food if you let them and have stolen snacks from the kids before when left out. They will wait patiently for anything you want to give them to eat after you are finished and are grateful for it. They love to chew treats, dog toys, and regular treats.. They eat Purina True Instinct dog food and just graze throughout the day. Wrigley is very vocal and will let you know how she is feeling at any time and is adorable how she 'talks' and howls when excited and will go in circles and snort when you get her really going. She loves belly rubs and needs constant reassurance that she is a good girl and is wanted and will stick to you like glue anytime you sit down or lay down They would make great companions to someone who has the time for them and they have so much love to give. They are the sweetest girls and have been so fun to have around. They are used to a high energy and full kid house half the time and a quiet and solo napping house the rest of the time and love both. There is no digging outside, or chewing on any furniture or kid toys, just their stuff and sometimes the trash if they can get to it. Wrigley has never had a litter, but has a motherly instinct and will sometimes protect a toy like it's her baby and will growl if any other dog comes near it and try to intimidate them. Wrigley was spayed in the rescue and Lucky was already spayed (previously) and both are current on vaccines. Story
Koda Koda is 5 years old. He was born on 7/19/2020. He is neutered and AKC certified. Koda is a very smart boy and is trainable. He barks and lets you know something is amiss. Koda is a chewer and he will chew and eat anything (Really anything). I have a cot bed for him because anything soft with cotton he will chew through, toys included. Koda is house trained and prefers to be indoors. He does well with chickens but loves those chicken eggs. He needs a family home where he will be given lots of attention and love. He would do best being the only male dog.
