Story
Derek is a handsome black and white sugar cookie with a reputation for being a total lovebug. He is in need of a hip surgery (which PACC will take care of) and a home that can provide him with a place to recover and a bit of simple physical therapy after his surgery. Derek has all the love in the world to offer in return!! Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:“Derek is a super sweet guy who is easy to leash and walks really well on leash.”“Derek was a delight to walk today. Easy to leash, polite leash manners, likes to sniff, takes treats gently, mellow and easy going, friendly and affectionate. A wonderful very good boy!”“Another volunteer and I introduced Derek to a new friend today and he was so fun to watch. He was very excited to have a new buddy and wanted to play so badly- she was a bit shy, and Derek respected her space. But, he made sure to stay close, play bowing and wagging his tail in case she decided she wanted to play, with a big friendly smile on his face. It was so cute. Derek is a great dog!”Derek would like to meet any resident pets before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and is a ladies man who may do best with female friends. Ask to meet Derek today!!

Story
Athena is a sweet energetic dog that loves to be outside exploring just as much as she loves to cuddle up on the couch and get some snuggles. She loves getting pets, and being around her people. She is so gentle and patient and will make any family or person the perfect companion. She does great with other dogs, and kids, but it might take cats a bit to warm up to how friendly and energetic she can be when she meets new friends. She`s fully potty trained, and is doing well with basic commands but will need a little reminder every once in a while. She is starting leash training and does really well, but will pull when she gets a little excited. A quick reminder and she is back to walking calmly. Because she is so energetic and active she would make the perfect running companion. When she is out for a run on leash she is so well behaved and focused and in her element. If you are looking for a sweet pup that loves a good cuddle but can still keep up with an active lifestyle then this is your girl

Story
Gunther is a sweet, 9ish year old boy that's young at heart and weighs about 40 lbs.  He can be a bit bossy and possessive when it comes to interacting with other dogs, but he's been really good with the Chihuahua that he's been fostered with, and he loves to run and play with a female friend of his that's about his size.  He also does very well being the only dog, and would love to have a human or two that he doesn't have to share with anyone else and a big yard to run around in.  Gunther is sensitive and devoted.   Gunther's adoption fee is $250, with a $21 PACC license transfer fee. he is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. To fill out an adoption application, go to www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com or email info@tucsoncoldwetnoses.com for more information.   *Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required.  Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption.   Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s). Story
Hi everyone, I'm Martin! I may be a senior, but trust me, I've got a youthful spirit that's always up for some fun and outdoor adventures! I'm on the hunt for a loving forever home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by love and joy. Let me tell you a bit about myself! First and foremost, I'm a playful guy. Don't let my age fool you; I've got plenty of energy left to enjoy life to the fullest. Whether it's chasing after a tennis ball or going on leisurely walks, I'm always eager to join in on the fun! I must admit, I absolutely adore spending time outdoors, especially with my humans. So, if you're an adventure enthusiast seeking a loyal companion for your outdoor escapades, I'm your guy! Together, we can explore the world and create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Now, about my preferences - while I get along well with other dogs, I can be a bit particular about my friends. A proper introduction is necessary to ensure we're a good match, but once we're on the same page, I'm sure we'll become the best of buddies! One thing to keep in mind is that I'm looking for a kid-free home. It's not that I don't like children, but at this stage of my life, I'd prefer a calm and relaxed environment where I can enjoy some peace and quiet. I'm sure you understand, right? If you think we could be the paw-fect match for each other, I'd love to meet you! Let's schedule a time for a proper introduction and see if our hearts align. Please help me find my forever home by sharing this post with your friends and family. Let's spread the word and make sure I find the loving family I deserve. Thank you all for taking the time to read about me. I can't wait to meet my new family and start this beautiful journey together! With love and wagging tail, Martin

Story
Looking for My Forever Human! Could it be You? Lumiere here, and while I might not be yearning to be human (I'm pretty content being a doggo), I am definitely eager to find my very own human to share life's adventures with! Let me tell you a bit about myself - I'm a young and exuberant pup who had quite the unique upbringing. I spent my early days in the company of 22 other doggy pals, all crammed into an RV with an overwhelmed caregiver. It was a wild ride, but now I'm ready to embark on a new journey: finding my forever home. While I'm still brushing up on some of the basics of doggie life, I've been making leaps and bounds in the social department since joining my current crew. Meeting new people is kind of my jam, and I'm not shy about showering them with my infectious enthusiasm. Cuddles? Oh, you bet! I'm a cuddle connoisseur, and I'll happily be your snuggle buddy whenever you need some furry comfort. And let's talk about other dogs - I thrive in their company! So, if you have a pup pal or two at home, I'm all in for playdates and doggy shenanigans. Now, let's talk logistics: a yard would be a dream for me. As I continue my leash-walking education and work on perfecting my potty habits, having a little outdoor haven would be super helpful. I'm a quick learner and determined to become the best version of myself with your guidance. So, are you ready to make a difference in my story? Are you the human I've been patiently waiting for? If you're seeking a furry friend who's overflowing with joy, potential, and endless love, then I just might be your guy. Please apply below and let's start this adventure together. The next chapter of my life - one filled with tail wags, belly rubs, and unforgettable moments - is just waiting to unfold. Excited woofs and wagging tail, Lumiere
