Camy is a 7-year-old Border Collie/Husky Mix. She came to us through a Good Samaritan who found her left in a dog park. We found several posts online showing she had been spotted several times across town for 3-4 weeks before finally being found in the dog park. Her previous owners never claimed her. We had no clue she was pregnant until her belly grew into a watermelon-sized ball, seemingly overnight! She gave birth to 9 healthy puppies who have all been adopted by the most wonderful families. Camy is the sweetest, most lovable girl with very high energy. She does not like to be kenneled and only wants to go for walks or play. She needs a family with a very active lifestyle and/or another very active dog with a similar energy type to ensure a happy forever after. She gets along with most dogs but can be picky about others. She would be best suited for older kids. A very secure yard/play area is a must because she is an escape artist and will take off if she feels like it. This behavior will, most likely, subside once she has a family that can satisfy her need for attention and exercise. All current AND previous pets (cats and dogs) MUST be up to date on vaccines and be spayed/neutered. Please check with your landlord, if you rent, for breed and weight restrictions before applying. It’s impossible not to smile when you’re around Graham.Graham may be “new” to the ranch, but he’s no stranger to us. Adopted as a puppy after recovering from a medical emergency for a foreign body and infection Graham lived in his adoptive home for 3.5 years. He was recently returned, through no fault of his own, because his adopters living situation changed. Now this sweet boy is starting over and deserves a home that will never abandon him again. And Graham…..oh what a gem he is. He’s kind, he’s easy, he’s great with other dogs and tested well with cats. He’s the goodest of boys and truly deserves the very best of homes. A home that will promise him forever and cherish every moment he happily gives. She will be ready for adoption at the end of July due to being scheduled to be spayed on 7/22 and needing time to recover and heal.
