Meet Sadie! 🐾 Sadie is a 2-year-old, 38-lb rescue from Riverside County shelter looking for her forever home. She has beautiful fur, gorgeous eyes, and the sweetest swagger. Her tail wags about 95% of the day! Sadie is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate. She’s the best off-leash dog I’ve ever owned—extremely obedient outdoors, stays close, and will not run away. She has little to no prey drive and is an amazing hiking partner who can easily go 12+ miles. She’s equally happy playing with toys or lounging at home. She’s house-trained and LOVES to snuggle—if you let her, she’ll even spoon you all night! ❤️ Sadie should not live with children. She generally does well with other dogs but struggles with alpha/confident female dogs. She needs an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with herding breeds who enjoys training and can help her continue to thrive. Sadie is a truly special dog who will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion for the right person.

This is Akila... One of the absolute best dogs I've ever been around. Learns quickly. She's around a year and a half old, very sweet and listens well. I got her about 2 months ago. All of her shots except one are up to date, the rest are due in November, so probably just getting all done at once would be best. She's house trained, crate trained, and loves car rides and going on walks. Walks well on a leash, doesn't pull. She's a bit nervous around most men, but not aggressive, likes women and children, but she doesn't try running up to them, and is very gentle with small children and babies. And is extremely gentle taking treats from your hand... Even bacon!!! Likes well mannered dogs that are not aggressive...now, she does get excited to see them, but not overly excited. She needs a home where she can have more time to have fun. I can meet at Hallelujah junction or Sun Valley to see if someone is a good fit. The adoption fee may be negotiable until I get her shots updated.

This is Igris. He is not sure how he got in this situation. One day he was chatting with his buddies and the next he found himself in a new place. Igris is a smart guy who just needs a little bit of encouragement to be a best boy. He would do best in a home with no cats and a family who will help reinforce the things he has learned. Igris is a bit slow to warm up to new people and places and has a great deal of energy to burn (both physical and mental). He will benefit from seeing a trainer to give you both some tools for a happy life and cool adventures together. Getting a dog is a long term commitment which begins in steps. Igris will take 3 days to begin to settle into a new home with new people and 3 weeks to start to feel like the home is his. It may take 3 months for your relationship to begin to feel like the real thing. It all starts with a meeting and a pup cup...are you ready to make a long term commitment? Igris is!

Marley loves to be by his person...always. Pats, belly rubs and hugs are his love language. Walks and runs also make him a happy guy. He would do best in a home with kids over 12 years old. Marley is cautious around men and just asks that they develop a plan together to build a great relationship...slow and easy is the best way to start. Marley has participated in playgroup in the shelter and may prefer a canine companion in his future home!

Starling is a 21-week-old girl who we believe is a Border Collie/Shepherd mix. This smart, playful puppy is treat motivated, eager to learn, and already has a wonderful foundation of good habits.Starling is completely potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps peacefully in her crate through the night and happily goes in when asked. She knows “sit,” “down,” “no,” and “nice,” and she learns new things quickly, especially when treats are involved!This girl has a playful side and an affectionate one. She enjoys snuggling with her people, although cuddles often turn into playtime before long. She loves running around, chewing on squishy toys, and enjoying special treats like peanut butter, pup cups, and pig ears.Starling does well in the car and is comfortable on a leash, although she can pull when something exciting catches her attention. She is still a puppy, so continued training and consistency will help her develop into a wonderful adult companion.Starling has shown interest in chasing cats, so a home without cats would be the safest choice unless her interactions can be carefully assessed. She is being fostered with a cat in the home, but the cat doesn't engage with Starling.
