I adopted BamBam almost four years ago, and he is a very sweet dog, he is four years old and has an energetic, loving personality! He has had some issues with resourcing guarding me, his owner, and I think he would do better in a new home. It would be best for him to live in a single person house hold where he would be the only pet and could have plenty of attention from his owner. He is a very sweet boy and I would love to find him a loving home. :)

MEET CHIP - Chip is a cutie pie Border Collie (maybe a little Labrador too) that We were able to Spring from a central California Shelter hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Chip has a backstory that we’ll share with potential adopters. The compact version is He is a lucky boy to have landed here at the rescue and though he has a couple quirky behaviors (he doesn’t like treats?, we’re still working on that) He is a nice mellow companion that enjoys his walks and never bothers our geese or ducks even when they’re sleeping lay down right next to him. Chip weighs 55 lbs. He’s great with the teenagers here, we have not had him around small children, we believe Chip is best with older kids. Chip is a good boy that deserves to live a good life! Chip is now Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He can be a little shy at first, but he is gaining confidence and making great progress. He loves playing with Snowy, rides well in the car, and is getting much better on leash. Big, loud trucks can still make him nervous, but he handled fireworks surprisingly well. Charlie is looking for a patient family that will continue helping him feel safe and confident. Meet Buca! Buca is a 12 year old Border Collie and one of the sweetest senior boys you could hope to meet. He came into the shelter after being found with a microchip. Everyone hoped his family would come for him, but sadly, no one ever did. Shelter life was especially hard on Buca. As an older dog, he needed more rest, regular movement, and a comfortable place to relax. Once he got out of the shelter and had a chance to truly rest, we were surprised by the pep in his step. This sweet guy still has plenty of life, love, and personality to share. Buca is a little overweight and would benefit from regular walks and a healthier routine, but otherwise he is a pretty easy guy. What he really wants is a soft place to sleep, people to love, and a peaceful home to call his own. A few things to love about Buca: • Sweet and affectionate • Great with people • Good with other dogs • Potty trained • Fine in a crate, though he doesn’t really need one • Enjoys walks • Happy to relax and just be near his people Buca deserves to spend his senior years in comfort, surrounded by people who love him.
