I adopted BamBam almost three years ago, and he is a very sweet dog, he is three years old and has an energetic, loving personality! He has had some issues with people, especially strangers, when they get too into his personal space. It would be best for him to live in a single person house hold where he would be the only pet and could have plenty of attention from his owner. If you are interested, please email me and I will explain in more detail about the issues he has had and answer any questions. He is a very sweet boy and I would love to find him a loving home. :)

MEET BEETLE - This little cutie is just a pup approximately 8 months old. He’s a sweet boy and aims to please. He puts up with a lot of ducks and geese everyday. So far he doesn’t seem to care about them too much. He doesn’t chase them. He loves other dogs and though he’s not been around cats here I think he would be ok with them based on his personality. He plays with teen kids and is always happy to see everyone. Beetle would be happiest with a parent or a family that took him places and integrated him into family fun. Beetle is now Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Hello, this is Dottie. She is a beautiful 4 year old Border Collie Mix. She was rescued by me a little over 2 years ago. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and shots. She is not good with small dogs or cats. She was good with our other large dog. I would love for her to find a home with a loving family and a yard. She is energetic and super loving. Cuddles are her favorite thing. She loves humans, they are her favorite.

Looking to rehome this sweet girl. Her mom is a Border Collie and her dad is a Weimaraner, she’s a smart, loyal and a lover. She will likely be medium-sized when she’s grown. We would love to keep her ourselves, but we already have a full house of pets. Someone is going to be very lucky to have her—we’re just looking for someone who will love her as much as we do. She will follow you from room to room just to stay close. She’s remarkably relaxed for a puppy and spends most of her time wandering, snoozing or looking for cuddles. She’s still got that curious puppy side, of course, but she’s very gentle and loves playing with other dogs and kids. Sweet, loyal, adventurous. We are looking for a forever home for this sweet girl. She is almost 3 months old and at the ideal age for bonding and early training. She loves to explore and play- she is always happy chase you around and will likely follow you anywhere you go. She is also always happy to get cuddles. She has grown up with other dogs, and is well socialized. She is great with young kids too. She loves attention and it would be great for her to go to a home with another dog, so she has a friend/playmate/companion, but not required. It would also be best for her to have a home with a yard, as she loves to explore. She is not spayed yet, but is up-to-date on vaccinations. No special needs. This sweet girl is still young, so she will need an owner with some patience and time, but in return she will become your new best friend.

Slade is looking for a home!Slade has been spending some time in weekend foster with one of our volunteers, who has this to say about him:After a one day outing with Slade a week prior, where we introduced him to his kennel when he visits, Slade stayed with us for 4 days and 3 nights this time. Slade has no problem getting in a vehicle, and is a perfect traveler. Like most all dogs, he likes to hang his head out the window, but also sometimes just lays down and cruises, and sometimes just sits there and watches out the back window. Never anxious or panting like some large dogs do in a vehicle. Slade was very comfortable in the kennel which I built for "no dog contact" fostering, as we have two dogs of our own. Slade and my 2 dogs were never in contact, but got to know each other very well; two feet apart. All 4 days were very positive for all 3 dogs, and there was a lot of "fence chase play". Slade truly enjoyed watching my dogs play, and at times they all just laid by the fence close but no contact.Slade's 3 nights in the house went smoother than I had hoped. We dedicated a room to Slade with an XL crate. We left the door to the crate open, so he had access to the whole room. He enjoyed my recliner, and TV! The majority of the night he did stay in his crate. There were no messes of either type all 3 nights! Slade seems house broken. That was nice!Slade spent a lot of time with my Wife, while I would take my other 2 dogs for walks, or played in the back. He was very comfortable while he had the run of the rest of the house. He and my wife are "Buds". I think Slade would get along with most anyone.(We don't have cats, so I have no feedback on that)I took Slade on several walks in my neighborhood, he was great, no pull, just wanted to sniff and explore, it was very easy to walk him. I also took him on a couple walks out by the River on a long-leash, all nature, no cars or trucks. He absolutely loved it!Though I hope Slade gets adopted today! He will always be welcome at our house. He is a great houseguest, and a Gentle Giant with a playfully side too!My dogs go out first thing every morning to see if he is there!This animal is at the City of Chico Animal Shelter.
