Story
🚨Border Collie/Herding Dog Experienced Foster or Foster to Adopt Needed. 🔹Pets Name: Penelope 🔹Age/DOB: 2 years old 🔹Gender: Female 🔹Spayed: Yes 🔹Weight: 50lbs 🔹Breed / Breeds: Border Collie Penelope is a very smart sweet border with typical herding tendencies. She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . She would do well where she could work stock. She will be in the port charlotte area. 📩 Apply to foster or foster to adopt at the link below! ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
This is Peanut!! Border/corgi mix but i see a lot of border!! He is a year old.. This boy is about a year old and a beautiful tri with a lot of white on him. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines/testing/wormer/flea and heartworm. He is heartworm negative. He is needs a place to shine, he is scared in the shelter but is well behaved and is really sweet and silly when his personality comes out. he is a bit timid of men but will allow touching once he sniffs you. Good with other dogs, Lets get this boy a place where he can run and be all he can be!! May be a sports prospect!!!! Currently in the shelter at Levy co in Williston. Its a scary place there!!! Story
I adopted Didi in Nashville, TN in Nov 2020. She had been at the shelter since Jan. She came in pregnant. Her entire litter was adopted - but she was not. She is skiddish and refused to be in a crate. She would self harm to get out. We moved to Florida in Dec 2021 and she adjusted ok. She has anxiety about being alone and thunder. She has been to training to help with being in a crate and to assist with her anxiety of being alone while I'm at work. My work schedule has only increased and me working from home is not an option. She needs someone who will be home or with another dog. I can not get another dog. She is completely house trained, walks on leash (no pulling), and listens on basic commands. She is not motivated by food or toys - only by not being alone. It's not fair to her due to my work schedule.
