You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.&#226&#128&#188&#239&#184&#143Available for Adoption&#226&#128&#188&#239&#184&#143 Orlando   Meet Cookie!! Cookie is a 4 year old 60 pound female who was brought in to 4LD as a stray. We can’t say for sure what her breed is, but based on her physical appearance and traits we believe her to be a Border Collie & possible Labrador mix.  Cookie is acclimating to being an indoor pet, she’s come such a long way in a short amount of time. When Cookie came to us she was treated for Pneumonia and since then she has totally come out of her shell! She is surprisingly housebroken and is loved to go for walks! She also enjoys being at the brewery and meeting new people!  Cookie is still nervous and sensitive to hustle and bustle, a quieter home will benefit her during his transition to living inside. She is gaining her energy back, and loves to be lounging in the sun in her backyard. She’s pretty low energy and is an easy going kinda gal!!  We do not know Cookies history, so we will not be adopting her to a home with young children. Please apply to be considered for Cookie at 4luckydogs.org - if you have an app in already pls comment below to move it over.  #4luckydogspetrescueinc #4luckydogsrescue #4luckydogs #4luckydogsanimalrescue #floridadoglife #floridadoglovers #floridadogrescue #borderdor #bordercollie #mixedbreed #tampa #tampabay #orlando #orlandoflorida #orlandofl #fosterdogVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2024, 8:20 pm

Story
Annie is an incredibly sweet border collie mix. She enjoys short walks, and lying in the sun. Due to her age, she does not require much exercise but still enjoys the great outdoors. Annie is treat-motivated, crate-trained, and loves to snack on carrots. She was first adopted from a family with children after they had to move away and has since lived with a single owner who unfortunately can no longer care for her. She's an older girl but loves to play and beg for treats with her paws. Her dream is to retire to her forever home. She gets a little anxious during thunderstorms and prefers to be by your side during them. It took some time for her to warm up to our other female dog but now they play in the yard together and get along fine.

Story
Daisy Mae is a 7-year-old, 75 lb, Border Collie/Heeler mix looking for her forever family. She is UTD, spayed, microchipped and housebroken. Daisy Mae is medium energy and would love a family to relax with after going on walks and chasing balls. She is good with dogs her size or larger but not good with small dogs and not good with cats, and prefers no children. Daisy can be prone to UTI's so she takes a cranberry supplement to help prevent them. She has been known to guard items of high value and would benefit from an active and experienced family that has previous experience with resource guarding behaviors. Training will be provided at no cost to her new family to help ensure her success. Daisy Mae has to find her new forever home because she currently lives with a toddler and needs to be in a home without children under the age of 16 yrs old due to resource guarding behaviors. Daisy's ideal home would be an adult only home that is open to participating in training to make some minor resource guarding issues easier to manage. She is a well-trained, medium energy companion that would make an amazing pet. Please note, Daisy Mae is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. They are under the care of their current guardian. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability. Adoption fee REDUCED: $ 75 ##1177999##

Story
Hi, I'm Bandit! I am a 4 year old aussie/border collie looking for my forever home!  I am crate trained and have a medium energy level.  I do not like other dogs and have not been tested with cats as of yet. I currently am being fostered by a family with a 2 year old and a 4 year old and I have been very gentle yet playful with them.  Even when my foster mom put snacks out for the kids on the coffee table, I did not touch them.  When I see other dogs, I pull a lot but do not bark or growl.  ##2002287##

These pups are in Winter Haven, Florida too!

Story
Hershey was adopted as a companion dog by an elderly woman who has now developed severe dementia. She is unable to properly care for her (consistently overfeeding), Hershey pulls too hard on the leash, and has become overly territorial. Hershey needs lots of love and consistent training, hopefully a large secure yard and a strong owner to manage her. She will more than abundantly reward you with love, devotion, and her wagging curly tail. She plays rough with other dogs (nipping at legs), and has cattle dog reponses to stop people or other dogs from running. We hope someone will love her and give her a forever-home.
