Story
Hi, I’m Jojo! I’m a 1-year-old Border Collie blend who weighs 38 lbs. I’m looking for snuggles, snacks, and someone special who will love me forever. General Behavior:  Jojo is a sweet boy! He wants to be near people and is gaining his confidence. An active and athletic dog, Jojo will do best with someone who can continue his basic training (with cheese, he loves cheese) and give him plenty of walks and or runs. Likes & Dislikes: Jojo doesn’t need a pile of toys: he just wants to be near his people and eat cheese (his favorite treat). Training: Jojo is a smart cookie! He is housetrained if let out frequently and he will let you know when he needs to go out. He is working on basic commands and in a short time, he has learned “sit” and “hold” (with the help of some cheese treats). With a gentle leader, he is learning to walk on a leash. He sleeps in his dog bed at night. Medical: Jojo is a healthy boy! He just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: So far, Jojo has got on well with all other dogs and even cats! He would love another doggie playmate in his forever home.  Children: Jojo hasn’t been observed around children yet. Home: Jojo is an energetic young guy, so he would do best in a home with an active family. Other than that, he's not picky! Grooming: Apart from brushing and baths, Jojo should not need much elaborate grooming. Overall: Jojo will make a wonderful companion for an active family who can train him and love him forever. Can you help Jojo get his mojo back by giving him a forever home? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $400. ##2342653##

Story
Radar is being fostered in PA. He has some vision, possibly shadows. Radar is the sweetest snugglebug with an intrinsically calm demeanor. He loves to be with his humans at home and is always up for meeting new people and dogs in the neighborhood. He LOVES going on walks and being outside. He gets very excited when he finds out a walk is happening and jumps up and down! Playing with toys is a favorite activity, second only to laying on the couch with his humans, getting headrubs. He sleeps in bed with his foster family but is also very content being in his bed. Radar can see some shadows and light but is mostly blind. He has no trouble getting around or navigating stairs. Radar is a gentle and loving soul. He would make a joyful addition to any home. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Hi, I’m Cooper! I’m a one-year-old, 42-lb cattle dog blend. I’m curious, cuddly, clever, and quirky. There’s just one thing I’m missing: a forever family who will love me forever. General Behavior: Cooper is an amazing, loving dog that will bring joy to your life. He is young and energetic and needs plenty of exercise, and he is also a very loving dog who will snuggle all day and loves scratches and belly rubs. Likes & Dislikes: Cooper LOVES his people and HATES to be left alone. He likes toys, too, but he tends to eat them. Balls are his favorite and he will chase them and bring them back to you… most of the time. Training: Cooper is a smart cookie! He is housetrained if let out regularly. He walks well on a leash (although he could use a bit of practice), he is well-behaved on car rides, and he has even learned some commands, like “sit” and “stay”.  He is food motivated, so his future family should be able to continue his training. Medical: Cooper is a healthy boy! He just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. Other Animals: Cooper is good with other dogs of all sizes. He’s even good with cats! Children: Although Cooper mostly has good manners, he still gets excited and jumps on people, so he’d do best in a home with teens and older only. Home: This boy can leap and bound that puts Superman to shame: therefore, he needs a house with a yard and at least a six-foot-high fence is a must. Cooper also needs a home where someone is around most of the time. If he is left alone, he must be left in a secure location to keep him out of trouble: he gets anxious and destructive when left alone.    Grooming: Cooper does not require much elaborate grooming, apart from brushing. Luckily, he loves being brushed! Overall: Cooper will make a wonderful companion for someone who will take him on adventures, give him lots of belly rubs, and love him forever. Cooper is ready to “fly the coop” and meet his forever family: could that be you? If so, visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption donation is $400. ##2295729##
