Rubix is such a sweet pup. He loves attention, loves his playtime with his buddy and is "over the moon cute". Well mannered, already house trained and would be a perfect addition to a loving family. Rubix would be a great partner for hikes, camping and just "hanging out". A volunteer favorite, we are all shocked he hasn't found his forever, loving home. Meet Leo, a vibrant border collie mix who weighs just a little under 70lbs. At 8 1/2 years young, Leo is still bursting with energy and enthusiasm. He thrives in the company of big dogs, and his best friend Cubby shares his love for exploring our scenic pond area. Leo has mastered the art of sitting, lying, and spinning, showcasing his intelligence and trainability. As he requires a fenced-in yard to prevent his curious nature from getting the better of him, a secure outdoor space is a must. Unfortunately, Leo needs a home with no small dogs or cats. Are you ready to welcome Leo into your life and share in his joy? Story
Ruby is the sister of Desparado and Brandy, a beautiful female, a mix of a border collie and black mouth cur.  She has a reddish coat with a black mouth.  Ruby is very shy and will require a fenced yard and a lot of attention to make her feel safe and secure.  She is house broken and socializedwith dogs but is afraid of humans.  She came into Lost Dogs Run with a gunshot wound.  She had been shot with a high powered rifle (vet thought it was a 30/06) and the bullet went through both back legs and shattered the tibia in one of them.  Rather than amputate, a splint was put on, and the bone fragments by some miracle grew back together and now she runs and walks without a limp.  She needs a good home.  The picture shows her on 4-13-25 when she was recovering from the gunshot wound.August 15, 2025, 10:06 pm
