Story
Lil Duke is a handsome 10-month-old Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart that's just waiting to shine. This sweet boy can be very shy and nervous when meeting new people, so he'll need a patient family that's willing to let him settle in at his own pace. With slow introductions, a little understanding, and lots of kindness, Lil Duke begins to show his true personality. Once he's outside, you'll see a whole different side of him! His confidence grows, and he's happiest chasing after his favorite ball or exploring the world around him. Playtime is where his fun-loving spirit really comes alive. Lil Duke has already had some basic training and has a great foundation, but he'll continue to thrive with consistency and positive reinforcement. As he gains confidence, he'll blossom into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Lil Duke is looking for a calm, loving home that will give him the patience, time, and encouragement he needs to feel safe and secure. If you're ready to help a shy pup discover just how wonderful life can be, Lil Duke is ready to become your faithful best friend.

Ollie is fostered in Snohomish and eligible for adoption anywhere!  Welcome Ollie to Murci's Mission. This fine sporting mix came to Murci's Mission from our friends at Becky's Best Buddies. He is approximately 55lbs with an estimated birthdate of 12/07/2024.  Ollie is social to dogs and kids with a biddable disposition. He is too over the top with cats. He is high energy and would love an active family who enjoys running or hiking, or an adopter interested in sports like agility, flyball, dock diving, barn hunt, nose work etc. He has nice foundational obedience like sit, stay, place, down, kennel etc and is eager to work together to learn even more.  Ollie is crate trained and can settle down well in the house for movie night or board games. He's an all around good boy with a ton of potential.  Please begin by submitting an application at www.murcismission.org. Ollie's adoption fee is $200, and he comes home fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. He will also come with a leash, collar, ID tag, and a food sample.  Thanks for checking out our guy!  ##2636145##

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Click here to apply for the pet Meet Bear, the dashing 2-year-old Border Collie who’s here to steal your heart! At 40 pounds of pure charm and energy, this handsome boy knows how to make an entrance. 🐾 With his shiny black coat and bright eyes, Bear is not just a pretty face; he’s also a super-smart pup who’s ready to become your loyal sidekick! Now, let’s talk about Bear’s personality. He might be a little shy at first, but give him a moment to get comfortable, and you’ll find that he transforms into a loving and devoted companion. Once Bear trusts you, you’ll discover a friend for life who’s as loyal as they come. 💖 He thrives on routine and forms deep connections with his loved ones, making him the perfect partner for anyone looking for an emotional bond. If you have experience with smart, driven dogs and can offer Bear that peaceful retreat, he will absolutely flourish with your guidance. And let’s not forget his playful side! Bear loves playing ball and is highly food motivated, which means training sessions are bound to be a blast! 🎾 Bear can be dog selective, and with the right match, we would be a playful canine companion for the right existing furbaby. Bear is already neutered and gets along wonderfully with children, making him a great fit for families. Just a heads-up, though—he doesn’t vibe well with cats, so those furry felines will need to stay elsewhere. If you think you can offer Bear the loving, single-pet home he deserves, then he may just be the perfect match for you! This sweet boy is currently in a foster home, eagerly waiting for his forever family to come along. If you’re ready to take on the rewarding journey of adopting Bear, don’t hesitate to reach out! Pepper is your classic lovable puppy — sweet, cuddly, silly, and guaranteed to keep you smiling! 💕 But don’t let that innocent face fool you… this girl can go from snuggle bug to SHARK MODE in about 0.2 seconds. 😂🦈 Pepper is a playful, energetic puppy who is still learning that not everything is a chew toy and not every moment is playtime! She’ll need someone who is ready to help her learn all those important puppy basics, including appropriate play, bite inhibition, manners, potty training, and the joys of being a well-behaved pup. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn, and with some consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’s going to make an amazing companion. ❤️ If you’re looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and happily curl up with you once she’s worn herself out, Pepper might be your girl! 🥰 Just be prepared for the occasional cuddle → zoomies → SHARK ATTACK → cuddle cycle. 😂🐶 Pepper is looking for a family who understands that puppies are a lot of work, but also knows that watching them grow into the wonderful dogs they’re meant to be is so worth it! 🐾

Story
Meet Lida! If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate velcro shadow who thinks you are the absolute center of the universe, Lida is your girl. She is a sweet, lower-energy (but still loves to play) dog who has never met a person she did not fall in love with. Her favorite hobby is being right by your side, soaking up cuddles, and showering you with love. She is friendly with all people and dogs, and all she wants to do is hang out with her favorite humans. She has all the manners, is potty trained, great on walks, and knows basic commands. She loves to please and is always highly attentive, listens well, and settles in nicely once she knows a routine. Lida's love for people runs very deep - so deep that being left alone is very hard for her right now. When left monitored or unassisted, her separation anxiety takes over: she will vocalize loudly, can panic in kennels and yards, and has been known to chew and break containment and run off just to find people. The good news is that even if she slips out, she always goes to find people and never runs away from them. In her foster home, Lida is making noticeable progress, and with structure and patience, her anxiety is softening and her listening skills improving every day. She would thrive in an environment with someone who understands her struggles and can offer a secure, loving home where she will feel safe and grow in her confidence. With the right time and understanding, Lida will make the most devoted and loving companion you could ever ask for. If you're interested in Lida just text her foster mom Tessa at (509) 939-1940

Story
Meet Peanut, a vibrant, free-spirited wild child who brings a whirlwind of pure, unfiltered joy wherever she goes! Affectionately nicknamed by the foster family as their "little alien" for her looks and her hilarious, out-of-the-world personality, she is a puppy with a heart full of love and endless appetite for fun. Peanut lives life at full throttle and is usually the last one in the litter to slow down. Whether she's finding a little innocent trouble to get into or zooming around the yard, her signature move is running straight up to you, placing her little paws on her face, and showering you with a thousand sweet kisses. Fun fact: she was the smallest of her litter but now has surpassed the two others. Despite her adventurous and crazy spirit, Peanut is remarkably attentive and deeply attached to her humans. She loves following you wherever you go and will always make a point to pause her wild adventures, run back to check on your, and make sure you are still nearby before diving right back into action. She has so much life, light, and love to offer, and she is looking for a fun, active home that will truly cherish her one-of-a-kind spirit and laugh along with all her antics. If you want to meet Peanut text her foster mom Tessa at (509) 939 1940

Ebenezer AVAILABLE for adoption! To fill out an adoption application : https://forms.gle/dGz75whm2hFT2fej7 Eb is another long standing foster (he’s been waiting over a year). Eb is short for Ebenezer. He’s 3 now, neutered and microchipped. He is house trained. He’s smart and can learn anything quickly. Meet Ebenezer: The Hero You’ve Been Waiting For! In a world where tennis balls must be chased… Where humans need unconditional love… One dog dares to answer the call. I am Ebenezer! Defender of couches. Protector of snacks. Slayer of squeaky toys. I can sit, shake, and lay down faster than a speeding treat. My superpower? Pure happiness. My weakness? Belly rubs. My mission? To love my people with everything I’ve got. Eb loves other female dogs (can be a bit selective of my male friends) No small dogs or cats. 🐈‍⬛ He honestly just wants to play ball. The whole world stops for ball time. Looking for a four-legged hero to save your day (and your heart)? The cape may be invisible, but the legend is real.

Story
If there were an Olympic event for stopping to smell the flowers, Penny would be bringing home the gold medal! This sweet Heeler girl is looking for a patient family willing to give her the time and understanding she needs to blossom into her best self. Penny can be a little shy when meeting new people and prefers to take things at her own pace. Once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a loving companion who enjoys affection, gentle attention, and sharing life's quiet moments. Because of her sensitive nature, Penny would thrive in a calm home where she can feel safe and secure. She may experience some separation anxiety, so she's hoping to find someone who can help her build confidence when left alone. In return, she'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of sweet moments. As a Heeler, Penny is smart and eager to learn. She already knows some basic commands and does her best to keep her space tidy, though like any dog, she will still need some training. She would do best with a family that understands her breed and is committed to providing consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. We're currently unsure how Penny feels about other dogs, cats, or children, but we'd be happy to help arrange introductions and testing. Please make sure to have the proper time, space and resources to care for me the rest of my life.🌸💕

Story
Zara is a 3-5 yr old spayed female Cattle Dog. I believe she's an "off color" purebred but may have some Border Collie or Aussie in her. She weighs 36#s and should be closer to 40 at an ideal weight. She is completely housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate when asked. She gets along fine with other dogs, but is not playful with them and can be spicy at feeding time. She would do best as an only dog. I manage her just fine with my 6 dogs, and you could too, but she needs to be reminded she's NOT the boss of the pack, you are, and she falls in line just fine. She's fine with all farm life and cats. She is also great with my grandkids, but kike all stock dogs, usually don't do well with visiting kids. I do know that she wouldn't but that's something to keep in mind. She likes a short game of fetch, not obsessed by any means like some. She's a very serious dog, on alert at all times and watching. She will make your yard and home feel safe for sure! She isn't a big barker, but does alert when appropriate and would deter any would be villain for sure. She just an awesome all around dog and we feel a "keeper" but we are at our limit currently. Lucky for you she is available to become your next full-time adventure partner!
