He is high energy and would love an active family who enjoys running or hiking, or an adopter interested in sports like agility, flyball, dock diving, barn hunt, nose work etc. He has nice foundational obedience like sit, stay, place, down, kennel etc and is eager to work together to learn even more. We rescued each other two years ago, come this November. I picked him up on a Sunday evening, and we got in the truck Monday morning and drove 12 hrs to work and have not been separated since. It is killing me to have to do this because I don't want him to think he did something wrong. He is the sweetest heeler I've ever met. He doesn't have the usually heeler nipping habits, although he will still "herd" when he is happy and excited. He is an amazing road trip partner. Whether it be a rock, pine cone, stick or actual toy; throw it for him and you will have a friend for life. He needs to go to a home that allows him to run and play and be loved tremendously.
