Story
Goose is 5 years old, loves to cuddle and play fetch. He has an enormous amount of energy and likes to spend time outside. He is very well trained inside and has never destroyed anything in my house. He is very protective and can be weary of some people. He gets along with certain dogs (usually smaller ones) but not all. He did grow up around cats and did not have an issue but has been a few years since he has been around them. he has not been around a lot of children. I unfortunately am moving and I cannot keep him would love to find a loving home for him.

Story
REGGIE Roxy (all black) is a 2 year old female that was found with her last years’ puppy, Reggie (white face) 1 year old female, living under a car in a rural area. They were taken to the pound and it was there that they discovered Roxy was very pregnant. Unfortunately none of her babies survived and she has been spayed. These girls were scared to death at the shelter, so much that the shelter was ready to euthanize. We were alerted that they needed a rescue to get them out and we said “YES” and gave them their “get out of jail free” card. Both are now spayed and current on vaccinations. Just getting these ladies out of the shelter and into a home, they have completely made a full recovery. Roxy loves to run around and is more independent than sweet Reggie. Reggie stays pretty close to you wherever you go, happily wagging her tail. Both girls will come back when called and we are working on potty training. They are very smart so I have no doubt it won’t take long. They get along with all the other dogs at the rescue and all people. They are just sweet, happy, loving and mellow little gals.

We will be learning more about Ellen Griswold in the coming days, so please check back for more information. In the meantime, Ellen Griswold is spending her days getting lots of cuddles, playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family. Ellen Griswold is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home.  Want to meet Ellen Griswold? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website for more information! Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2228489##
