🐾 Meet Otis! 🐾Otis is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix with a big personality and an even bigger brain! 💙 This handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed.Otis is extremely smart and already knows his Sit and Down commands! He has a playful personality and seems to really enjoy squeaky tennis balls—one of his favorite ways to have some fun! 🎾He seems to do well with other dogs, although he has only been kenneled with one other dog here at the shelter. Because of that, we recommend bringing your dog in for a meet-and-greet before adoption. 🐶We aren't sure how Otis would do with cats. We think his playful personality may also make him a great companion for children.If you're looking for a smart, playful boy who is ready for a second chance, Otis could be your guy! ❤️💰 Adoption Fee: $110 + tax❤️ Heartworm testing is available upon adoption if desired.Come meet Otis and see if this clever boy is the perfect addition to your family! 🐾Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. Hela was the only of her litter that was born and raised outside to have survive. She was taken in by The Ironwood Homestead and Sanctuary where she got a lot of exposure to other animals and gave birth to a litter of wonderful baby boys. She loves trying to herd the chickens and has a knack at finding old bones to chew on. She loves exploring outside and would do well with someone that also spends lots of time outside. She is great with other dogs, cats, goats, birds (chickens and larger). She knows a few tricks like sit, stay, up, spin, and paw but can be too excited or stubborn at times. She is VERY food motivated and loves to run around.

We have welcomed 'Quinn' to the Heart in Hand Family! We believe he is a Border Collie/Heeler Mix, about 4 years old. In such a short time, he has shown us what a little gentlemen he is! Seems friendly with everyone, submissive with other dogs, as he just wants to play! Seems ok around cats - he ignores them for the most part - unless they hiss and run then its 'tag your it' haha! He also seems good around other farm animals - doesn't pay attention to chickens or goats! He only wants to play with his doggies friends and be with a person. We need to work on leash training and basic commands which we started yesterday! He is very bright and has already started to get the gist of what we are asking from him! Just a wonderful lil' spirit! We just know he is going make such a wonderful addition to his new family! Felicia was rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy on  November 9, 2024 , and has been patiently waiting in foster care ever since. Despite spending most of her young life in foster, this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to discover just how special she is.   When Felicia first arrived, she was timid and unsure of people. Thanks to the love, patience, and dedication of her foster, she is blossoming into a curious, friendly, and confident dog. She now enjoys meeting new people and is doing so much better at Petco adoption events!   Felicia has a playful, goofy personality and loves to run, play, and show off her zoomies. After a fun play session, she’s happy to curl up for a cozy nap.   Felicia is a small-to-medium-sized adult dog, weighing around 45 pounds . Hello my name is Maggie. I am a senior Border Collie / Labrador Mix. Although I am over 10 years old, I have a lot of puppy / fun in me. My previous owner got too old to take care of me and had to go to a nursing home where I cannot stay. I am as sweet as can be. I whimper when you pet me and love attention. I am a cuddle dog that is fully House and Crate Trained. I do not bark. I am an indoor dog. I get along well with other dogs and won't give you any trouble. Please adopt me. All my shots are up to date and I come with 4 months of flea / tick / heartworm medications. I come with a large crate that you can put in the house and simply say "crate" and I will go into it. I pee on command Outside in the grass so you don't have to wait a long time for me 'to go". I am NOT a picky eater and will eat what you give me . I am a Good Girl ready for adoption.
