Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Felicia & sister Rayla were saved from a high kill shelter as puppies on NOVEMBER 9, 2024 and have been in foster ever since. There has been zero interest in these wonderful girls, who now have been in foster the majority of their young lives. When Felicia first came to us, she was scared of people but has come out of her shell so much thanks to her patient and persistent foster. Now she is curious, friendly, confident and does very well at Petco adoption events! She & Rayla are a joy to watch zooming around the yard, being goofy and wearing each other out. Inside they play together until tired, then will curl up and take a nap. Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home! They have been together in foster for so long at this point, we really think they would be best going to a home together, they seem happily bonded. If you have space for 2.. they will bring the entertainment and cuddles! Some pictures make them look large but both are small/medium size adult dogs 30-35 lbs., crate trained, house trained and spayed.  Link to her sister Rayla's page: https://lastchancepetrescueinc.rescuegroups.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21068147   Please contact us with any questions! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rayla & sister Felicia were saved from a high kill shelter as puppies on NOVEMBER 9, 2024 and have been in foster ever since. There has been zero interest in these wonderful girls, who now have been in foster the majority of their young lives. Like a lot of us.. public places are stressful and anxiety-inducing for Rayla. She doesn't show well (or at all if she's hiding under a chair) at adoption events and she can be timid and fearful with men. However, once she's back in her comfort zone her real personality comes out and she is a completely different dog. If you had a chandelier and she could reach it.. she'd be swinging from it!  Ok, that's an exaggeration, but she does make sure to show you how much she appreciates you by full body wags, and presenting you with her belly to rub, you're welcome. She's one of those dogs that just has a happy & upbeat vibe with a full body wiggle. See that adoring look.. that's all for you.  <3 Aside from public events, not much seems to dull this girl's spark. Rayla has an old injury that according to the vets likely happened when she was a puppy. Unfortunately it has healed in the wrong position and in order to 'fix' it, she would have to have an invasive surgery or full amputation that could be more traumatic than necessary. While it looks a little awkward, she doesn't seem to be in any pain. She still uses the leg for stabilization when running and playing with her sister, but doesn't rely on it. Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home! They have been together in foster for so long and they play so well together, we really think they would be best going to a home together.  they seem to be happily bonded. Story
Ghost is a 7-month-old Border Collie mix with a striking look and a gentle soul. This handsome boy was owner released and is now searching for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and learn what it truly means to be part of a family.Ghost does well with kids and other dogs, and he is crate trained, which gives him a great start as he adjusts to a new home. We are not sure yet if he is fully house trained, as he has had a few accidents while with us. With consistency and patience, he should be able to learn quickly.Right now, Ghost is a very scared and unsure young pup who is still trying to understand his new surroundings. Despite his nervousness, his sweet personality shines through. Once he begins to feel comfortable, you can see just how gentle and loving he really is. He simply needs someone willing to give him time, reassurance, and kindness so he can build confidence.Ghost is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and currently weighs about 42 pounds. This sweet boy has so much potential and so much love to give. With the right family to guide him and show him patience, Ghost will grow into a loyal, devoted companion who will be forever grateful for his second chance. 🐾🤍Ghost's Adoption Fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. Story
Sam, also known as Oreo, is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This handsome boy came to us as an owner release and is now looking for a patient, understanding family to give him the loving home he deserves.Sam/Oreo is a very sweet and affectionate dog who does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. He is both house trained and crate trained, and he already knows the commands “sit” and “kennel.” One thing you’ll notice quickly about him is that he’s a very slobbery boy—so be prepared for lots of drooly kisses! While Sam has many wonderful qualities, he does have a few things his future family should be aware of. He does not do well with cats, and because he does not like being picked up or hugged, a home with kids 12 and up would be the best fit for him. He can be a sensitive boy and does experience separation anxiety, so he would do best with a family that can help him build confidence and provide reassurance. When he becomes scared or stressed, he may have an accident in the home, so patience and a calm environment will help him succeed.Sam/Oreo is fully vetted and ready for his new beginning. He is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, neutered, and microchipped. He weighs about 39 pounds, making him a great medium-sized companion. With the right family—one that understands his sensitive side and gives him the time and love he needs—Sam/Oreo will make a loyal, goofy, and loving companion who will happily share his slobbery kisses and sweet personality every day. 🐾💙Sam's Adoption Fee is $35 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. Story
Meet Venus Just like her name, Venus is pure beauty inside and out. This 1-year-old sweetheart has the softest eyes and a gentle soul that will quietly steal your heart. Venus is exceptionally dog-friendly and loves having canine friends by her side. She absolutely adores kids and truly shines around them—gentle, loving, and happiest when surrounded by their laughter. She’s also eager to learn and wants so badly to do the right thing, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and confidence-building. Venus can be very shy around men. While we don’t know her past, we believe she may have experienced something difficult involving a male, so she’ll need patience, kindness, and understanding. With time and gentle reassurance, Venus begins to trust—and when she does, her love is deep, loyal, and incredibly special. She’s searching for a calm, loving home that will let her move at her own pace and show her what safety and unconditional love truly mean. In return, Venus will offer quiet companionship, sweet moments, and a heart full of devotion. If you believe the most beautiful bonds are built with patience and love, Venus may be the one you’ve been waiting for ##2620615##
