Collie Mix Clyde was relinquished by no fault of his own. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 07/04/25 and he currently weighs 41.2#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Welcome Simba! He is about a year and a half old and 40 lb. He is Australian Shepherd and Shih Tzu mix. He has never met a stranger in his life! He is super happy and good with dogs and kids of all ages. He absolutely loves toys and playing outside. The first thing that he does in the morning is pick up a toy. Just relaxing at night? Toy in his mouth. He will even fetch! Squeaky toys are very acceptable! He would do better with a family where he is not by himself for 8+ hours a day. Do you believe in bad luck? Simba has had 4 approved applications. 2 that ended up changing their minds before meeting him. 1 that thought he was a small dog (HE IS 40 POUNDS) and 1 that said "I just don't like him". Ummmm 😥 ok. And he was like perfect for his meet and greet 🤷. OH WELL! Just means his meant for someone else. He is good with dogs and kids (lived with 7 and 9 year old). He is fine with my cats but when adopted that cat never adjusted. He gets very excited when meeting new dogs. He was surrendered with his littermate but he got adopted. He loves car rides, too. I did not have a single potty accident from him but his adopter said she did. She didn't have a fenced in yard but did return him for not having time for him. 🤷 He'd probably do better in a fenced in yard but doesn't require it. He does pull on leash though. He is also good for grooming. He will need continued grooming. His original owner did it herself. He does not like to be crated as his family never used one. I keep him in the kitchen when we leave and to sleep at night. He does well with this. He is happy to meet anyone but is not clingy to people. He just likes to be with you but not up in your business. Reach out today if you think he would be a good fit for your family.
