Story
Meet Demi 💖 Demi is a cuddly little shadow who just wants to be where her people are. If you’re sitting, she’s curling up in your lap. If there’s a blanket, she’s rolling herself into the tiniest, coziest ball. Personal space? She’s never heard of her. She’s lively, curious, and proudly nosy. Demi loves to follow you around the house just to see what you’re up to and make sure nothing exciting is happening without her. She’s dog, cat, and kid-friendly and truly thrives on human connection. Demi is currently working on house training and crate training, and she’s doing great. She’s quiet and content in her crate and settles in nicely. With a little consistency, she’s going to be such an easy, loving addition to the right home. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate pup who bonds deeply and brings cozy, happy energy wherever she goes, Demi might just be your girl. Demi is fostered in Holmen, WI. Story
Greetings, my name is Garth! I'm a 3-year-old male border collie mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Sweetheart, Smart, Playful Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a loving guy who greets the world with a smile! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me too long to warm up to them. I'm super playful and love toys of all kinds, though I seem to favor balls. With that being said I am a hard chewer so I will need some strong toys! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: I have been good at keeping my kennel clean, although it may take me some time to adjust to a new schedule. I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any dogs in my potential home before adoption. I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Playing with toys!!!! I love cuddling my humans and getting affection from them as well. Things I need work on are: I could use a little more work with my basic commands and leash walking. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Garth was the best boy today. He is so friendly and nice, super calm and does not bark. He also LOVED his pup cup! he loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses, he is amazing! I did not want to bring him back but I really hope he gets adopted soon :)" "Garth was great. He is really smart. He knows sit, down, touch, and even can catch a treat in mid-air. He did great on leash and did pull a bit but not terrible to where you can't redirect him. He loves to check in when walking as well and can be able to tell to slow down if needed. He does like using his nose and is kind of food motivated. And he is a snuggle-bug, where he'll sit by your side and lean into you." "Garth is truly a special little guy! He needs to build some confidence and is definitely a little nervous at times, but he warms up to people really quick and is super affectionate and becomes very mellow when he gets pets and belly scratches. He is very smart and highly trainable! Was almost 100% with Sit and lay down and we started practicing “look at me!” on walks which he was very receptive to and by the end of the day he would look at me to check in whenever a new person entered. He does need a bit of leash training but was pulling less by the end of the day. He is playful and has energy but was also very calm and patient just hanging out in my office for a while!" Daycare Status: N/A My adoption fee is: $300 Training Requirement if applicable: N/A *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
The Valentine Puppies are about 2 months old and ready to find their forever homes. Their mom was a Border Collie, and while we aren’t sure who dad was, they are expected to grow into medium-sized dogs. These pups are smart, curious, and eager to learn. Like most puppies, they’ll benefit from obedience classes to help them learn good dog manners and build a strong bond with their new families. They’re at a great age to start learning, growing, and becoming wonderful companions with a little time, patience, and training. If you are ready to add a sweet little fur-kid to your family, stop by and meet them today!Adoption fee $500 + $30 microchip fee + tax
