Story
Hi there, my name is Tigger! I am a 6-year-old neutered male. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped!! 3 words that describe me: Playful, content, loyal. Things Tiggers foster has to say about him: A very low key and easy boy. He gets along great with our dogs and is very respectful of our cats. He bonds very quickly with new people and will be your constant shadow. He would prefer to sleep in bed with his people but has settled for a crate next to the bed. He can be nervous/unsure in new situations and seeks reassurance from his people. Tigger is incredibly affectionate, giving hugs and kisses and he’ll nudge your hand if you’re not providing enough pets. He’s very content to spend all day lounging around when needed which is great since nobody wants to be outside in this weather! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 6 or 7/10 Housetraining Status: With a consistent routine, my foster mom says I am fully potty trained! I should do well in a home: Due to my timid personality, any children in my potential home will need to be 8 years or older. I am required to meet any and all dogs in the household before adoption. I ignored the cats in my previous home. My favorite activities are: Going for walks, playing fetch, and cuddling! Things I need work on are: My foster says I'm already pretty perfect but, I am a smart guy and could always learn new tricks! Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Tigger did super on his DD outing! He loved being out and exploring the great outdoors! He is a bit shy but once he warms up to you, which is quick, your his favorite person and loves your company! I have no doubt that he will thrive in a home setting. Love this boy💙" "Tigger did amazing on his DD outing! This was his 2nd outing with me and was more comfortable being out and around me. Tigger likes calm, quiet environments and going to places with very little activity. He is alot of fun getting to know and he I would love to see him out on more outings with other volunteers. That would be good for him💙" " Tigger did amazing on his DD outing! Such a sweet, mellow boy. He loved to be back at the house just lounging & napping but when it was time for a walk he was excited! He loves being out on walks! Tigger likes quiet, calm places to hang out at with little to no activity so he thoroughly enjoyed time spent at the house. Tigger is a bit shy but once he warms up to you he loves being near you enjoying your company. Love this little guy and he will make a very nice addition to a home💙" My adoption fee is: $300 *If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal

Story
Major is a 1 year old Red Heeler. I adopted him from a farm with two pure bread Australian Cattle Dog parents. Major is a wonderful and very loving heeler. He loves people and other dogs. Amazingly he is not a barker or a nipper. I have trained those things out of him and he is very well behaved. He has been trained to be around very small children. He was to become my service dog. He plays nicely with children from as young as 3 years old without hearding them or nipping. Major is a very obediant dog as well. He understands recall, sit, down, up (jump up onto platforms), and other dog tricks. He loves to play fetch and go for bike rides. He is a great hunting companion as well as I have also trained him for small game hunting and we were working on tracking. He is very smart and learns almost instantly, so anything you train him to do he will pick it up quickly. He is very food motivated. He does well on a leash and even off leash.

Story
These adorable 2-month-old puppies came to PCHS with their mama, Sourdough, after their owner could no longer care for them. Named after different types of bread, this little loaf is as sweet as they come! These pups are super smart, curious, and eager to learn. Like all puppies, they’ll need patience, consistency, and guidance as they grow, and we highly recommend obedience classes to help them build good manners and confidence. They’re at the perfect age to learn, bond, and become amazing lifelong companions. Each of these bread babies is looking for a loving home ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with a puppy training, playtime, and lots of cuddles included.Adoption fee $500 + $30 microchip fee + tax

Story
Sourdough is a 6-year-old cattle dog mix who came to PCHS with her five babies after her owner could no longer care for them. She was an amazing mama, making sure her pups were safe, loved, and well cared for and now it’s her turn to be someone’s priority. Sourdough can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up. Once she does, her gentle and loving personality really shines. She gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a home that can give her patience, kindness, and a cozy place to finally relax. This sweet girl is more than ready to leave her mama days behind and settle into a loving forever home where she can just be Sourdough.Adoption fee $350 + $30 microchip fee + tax
