Sven is a border collie mix who is affectionate, playful and high-energy.He will make a wonderful dog for a loving family who will give him the time and attention he deserves.Sven gets along well with children and dogs.Sven got to spend a couple of days in a home and this is what they had to say: Sven is a border (border/collie/lab mix) and one of the most well-mannered dogs I have ever met. On walks, he walks right by your side at all times and isn't bothered by other dogs or people. He has not barked once (I honestly don't know if he knows he can). While he came into the shelter as a stray, he has the incredible intelligence to use the restroom outside. Not one accident, even through the nights. As a bonus, I can confirm he is great with storms and does not get fazed by loud noises. If he is hanging out on the floor, he makes sure to do his periodic check-ins. Every 10 minutes, you will see his head pop around the corner to make sure you are good. Interestingly, while I was happy to have him sleep on the bed, he chose to sleep on the couch. It felt like his way of keeping watch for the night. Within minutes of coming home, he was snuggling and cuddling, as he had known me for 10 years. I have never seen a dog adapt that quickly to a new person. Sven loves his toys and likes to show them off to you, very proudly. Ear scratches are his jam, and a belly rub puts him in a trance. Sven can read the room like no other. If you are on your laptop, he lets you be, but the moment you close it, he comes in for a hello. I found it classy with profound respect between himself and his human. Sven is the most impeccably behaved and gentlemanly 4-legged friend I have come across, and I am happy for the lucky person who gives him the home he deserves. My coworker passed away, and I took Anya and Sampson in together. I was hoping I could find a home for them, but I’ve been unsuccessful. My dog is not nice to them so I have to keep them separate. They also do not like kids and bark at my kids every time they go by. My coworker was a single lady so I don’t think they were around kids much. They definitely love each other and I would love to see them stay together. My mom and I have been taking care of them, but she’s getting ready to go back to work out of state. I think they would be happier in another home where there wasn’t other dogs that they had to be afraid of and with no children. They are both crate, trained and listen really well. They are good dogs. My home is just not the place for them. I think they would do better in another foster home that is quieter than my crazy house:)

Needing to rehome our two year-old, very energetic, very smart border collie blue heeler mix. We are moving and will not have enough room or the space he deserves. I have been actively trying to rehome and find him a good loving family since July 2025. S’mores is very protective of my girls however he is very friendly, very loving and just needs a lot of attention once he’s had his attention fix. He’s very chill. He will watch a movie. Give you a paw or hug and loves cuddles. We were gifted this sweet boy by our Maintenance man Once our landlord found out about this they were not thrilled. We definitely love him and need him to go to a good loving family. He will come with his crate blankets and his favorite stuffy.
