Story
Mickey is looking for a person, couple or family with time to spend with him! He is good with kids, dogs, and cats. His natural disposition is calm, but he loves attention and does love to play- especially outside with you if you have a fenced in yard! He is house trained and kennel trained. He is an inside dog and would not be well suited to live as an outdoor dog. He cannot have soft toys, but nylabone and benebone are great for him. He is well cared for but does not get the attention he needs in his current home.

These pups are in Osage Beach, Missouri too!

Lightning was brought to the shelter when his owner had to move and couldn't take him with her. He is a little shy at first, and will bite when pressured by strangers . He seems to be great with children and other dogs. He is also housetrained. He is still a young dog and will need someone with alot of patience to get him comfortable in their home. He will need an experienced handler to deal with his insecurities and biting issues. He seems to be more accepting of women than men. Story
She is still available for adoption but is currently at Jeff City Correctional Center in the Puppies for Parole program and won't be back at the shelter until April 10th. Her previous owner had to go into a nursing home so we don't have alot of info on her. She was more than likely an outside dog as she was tied up on the property when family came to get her. She is super friendly and loves attention. She is an older dog, probably 8-9 years old, and since being at the prison, they have noticed she has some incontinence issues and is on medication for that and will have to be on it for the rest of her life. That being said, she would thrive in a home where she had alot of attention and love, maybe as being the only dog or with another low-key buddy. Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: White Weight: 51.4 Age: 9yrs 4mths 1wks
