Story
Tootie is the kind of dog who leans into the people she trusts and then just keeps leaning. This incredibly sweet girl can be timid at first, but give her a little time and the goofy side starts sneaking out. She likes people and wants affection, she simply needs a moment to feel comfortable enough to ask for it. Tootie also loves other dogs. She can be shy with them initially, but once she settles in, she is happy to play and let loose. She has a moderate energy level and is just as happy soaking up attention as she is enjoying some playtime.

Tootie is still learning that the world is not such a scary place. She is under socialized and will need a patient family willing to introduce her to new people, places, and experiences without rushing her. We are still learning about some of her home skills, but we already know she has all the important pieces: she loves people, enjoys other dogs, and desperately wants someone she can trust. Tootie may not be the dog who marches up demanding attention on the first meeting.
