Lyra is a sweet, gentle 9 year old dog. She’s very spry and healthy and loves to walk and run. She is gentle with children and all people, gets along with most dogs. She does bark fiercely when a new person comes to the home, but will then be friendly. She’s very mellow otherwise. We are re-homing her because we live on a rural property with sheep, and she has a strong prey drive. We have a new baby And can’t spend as much time monitoring and making sure she doesn’t chase them. She would do really well somewhere with a big yard and friendly humans, but NO livestock. She would make a good companion for an older person.

Lila is still recovering from her spay, so she hasn’t been dog tested yet. Because of this, any introductions to other dogs should be done slowly and thoughtfully.
