I raised Indie from a puppy. Literally from the day he was born. He’s a great dog a smart as all heck but with two small children in the house it’s getting harder to deny that the herding instinct is to strong to let him be around the kids. He’s nipped them a few times. Never caused serious harm. It enough though that he needs a calmer place to retire. He’s 13 years old.

Story
June is super smart, eager to please, is very attentive to her people. She loves to learn, and is very athletic. She loves other dogs. Loves chasing a ball or frisbee. She has great recall. Whether out in a field or on the beach when you call for June she will come. She is leash trained and loves walking and hiking. When passing people on the trail I say "heel" and she comes and walks beside me. When walking in the neighborhood I tell her "this side" and she looks at me to determine where I am going, and I say "wait" and she waits at the corner and doesn't cross the road until I say "ok".She struggles with anxiety. Our vet suggested anxiety meds. She is on them right now. She gets nervous around strangers and does her best when she can greet people on her terms. She can growl and bark if someone approaches her first. However when she gets her energy out she doesn't have anxiety and she doesnt care about strangers. She needs a farm, someone who is active daily, or to do agility.

Hello, I`m Cruise Control! I`m about 3 years old and weigh 48 pounds. ** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I came in with another dog but I`ve been a little nervous meeting new dogs here at the shelter. Please bring all dogs from home to meet me to see if we hit it off!Cats? My history with cats is unknown, slow introductions would set us up for success. Kids? Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
