Story
Brina is a lovely 7-month-old smooth-coated Border Collie mix who was born around 12/16/2024 and weighed 30 pounds at 6.5 months of age. This sweet pup loves every person and every dog she meets. She thinks cats are play toys, so a home with no cats or dog savvy cats would be advised. She appears to be a medium to high drive pup. Brina’s crate training is progressing. She does spend nights in the crate with no accidents and quietly sleeps through the night. She will alert bark to strange noises. She is learning the basics of walking on a leash, sit/stay/down/come. She is also learning to sit and wait at doors before they are open. Brina was not fazed by the July 4 fireworks! Brina is an active and smart dog and a really fun pup. So far, she is not super motivated by treats or toys, but rather gets super excited playing, running around with other dogs, and doing all of the activities at her foster home. Brina is not comfortable sharing her food or chew toys, so her foster mom feeds her in her crate and chew toys are not left out. Although her resource guarding seems to be limited to other dogs, for this reason, a family with small children would not be advised. Brina is a darling and sweet adolescent dog who, with time, training, and consistency, should be a fantastic companion for the right adopter. She is presently being fostered in Milwaukie, Oregon. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Brina’s adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Brina and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. Story
Border collie enthusiasts, meet Nico💙, a stunning 3-year-old floofer boy who deserves a second chance at a happy life💞. Despite being abandoned by his family at the shelter, he demonstrated remarkable resilience and courage. As he warmed up to his new surroundings, his loving personality shone through, making him an ideal candidate for adoption. However, due to overcrowding, he was unfortunately placed on the shelter euthanasia list. Refusing to give up on him, we intervened and saved his life, knowing that he would thrive with a loving family. Nico is a sweet soul, weighing 38 pounds, a petite boy with big personality and tons of energy making him a great companion for a breed savvy family or someone’s sidekick, who truly appreciate who he is. He may have been left to his our own devices in his previous home and figured out the technique to entertain himself to fixate the herding, such as showing off his “stick technique”. Lol. We also discovered the fun boy loves chasing water when sprinklers are on, never gets tired! We recommend a family with older children. Although Nico is strong willed, he craves human attention😻, and is eager to form meaningful bonds. Nico's captivating chocolate brown eyes and black and white fluffy coat make him a true standout. This incredible boy has been neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. He’s ready to shower his body love and affection💕 on a deserving family. He is available for foster care, adoption, or foster-to-adopt. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome Nico into your life and experience the joy of loving and being loved unconditionally. Submit your application today and get ready to fall in love with this remarkable boy!🥰 Currently residing in Southern California, Nico is eager to bring inspiration and joy to a family in northern states like Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or any other continental location, provided a suitable family is willing to open their hearts💕 and home 🏡 to him.

He loves interactive games, running around the yard, and getting belly rubs. Benito thrives on connection and fun—he’s a dog who wants to be in the middle of the action and part of the family. With him, every day is a new adventure. Breed Information: As a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog, Benito is naturally intelligent, alert, and active. These working breeds are known for their stamina, loyalty, and sharp minds. Benito will benefit from regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him balanced and happy. Puzzle toys, training sessions, and active play will help him shine. He’s eager to learn and eager to please! Owner Responsibilities: Provide daily exercise: walks, play, fetch, or dog sports Offer mental stimulation through training, puzzles, and games Use positive reinforcement training—Benito is smart and responsive Maintain regular veterinary care and vaccinations Ensure he’s part of the family, not left alone for long periods Provide structure, patience, and love Create a safe, indoor home environment Commitment for Life: Benito is not a short-term companion—he's a lifelong partner.
