Story
Bjorn is a 1-year-old Border Collie with a heart as big as their ears! This lovable pup is searching for a forever home where they can share endless cuddles and playtime. Bjorn would thrive in a loving and active household. They adore human companionship and would do best in a home where they're not left alone for long periods. A family with older children or adults who can provide plenty of attention, exercise, and structured training would be ideal. Bjorn is known for his friendly and gentle nature. He loves meeting new people and furry friends alike! He is always up for a game of fetch or a leisurely stroll in the park. He is a quick learner and would excel in obedience training with positive reinforcement. Bjorn is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and in good health. They have been well-cared-for and are ready to bring joy to their new family. If you're interested in welcoming Bjorn into your heart and home, please contact me by phone/email.

Story
🐾 Meet Baloo! 🐾 Introducing Baloo, an adorable pup with a teddy bear vibe, searching for his forever home. This affectionate, sensitive soul adores people and eagerly wants to become your best friend. Baloo's favorite activities include cuddling on the couch, exploring outdoors, and playing with his plush toys and enrichment puzzles. He's also quite the athlete, enjoying runs in the yard and playful wrestling with his sister, Winnie. He is also excellent with kids. Baloo is a food lover, making training sessions particularly effective. He's always eager to earn a treat! He's progressing excellently with his crate and potty training and shows promise as a well-mannered companion. While Baloo has yet to meet cats, he's shown to be adaptable and friendly, so a proper introduction could likely be easily managed. Baloo's new family should be ready to continue his journey in training and socialization. He thrives on companionship, displaying separation anxiety when alone but doing well with someone in the room, indicating his deep bond with his family. Due to his Velcro-dog nature, he loves staying close by; whether working at your desk or cooking in the kitchen, Baloo will be your shadow, offering calm companionship outside his crate. Though not yet fully vaccinated and thus limited in outdoor adventures, Baloo already shows he's made for a life filled with activity. A yard to call his own would be Baloo's paradise, providing him the space to flourish. He may be a bit shy on the leash and needs further encouragement to gain confidence, but with his sensitivity and eagerness to please, he's a quick study. Baloo is at his best with his family, seeking out cuddles or lounging contentedly nearby. He'll even offer a gentle head in your lap or a paw on your shoulder to show love. This pup's ideal life is one where he can balance his two favorite things, adventure, and relaxation, always in the company of his beloved humans. If a sweet, loyal companion with loads of love to offer sounds perfect for you, and you're ready for a rewarding journey of growth and bonding, Baloo is ready to fill that role. Prepare for an affection-filled life—Baloo will shower you with kisses and loyal companionship, ready to be the loving heartbeat of your home. 🐾 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65f266808b00ab8e67042313 Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
