Story
Harper is a great dog. She is 2 years old but unfortunately I now have a job that takes me away from the home for long hours and can no longer give her the attention and walks she needs. She needs a backyard to run in and loves playing fetch. Knows sit and stay, very small dog. She can be slides at first but warms up after playtime. Contact me to set up an initial meeting to get to know her.

Story
Meet Ivy Ivy is a loving, energetic 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier/Border Collie mix looking for her perfect forever home. She loves being with her people, whether that’s cuddling on the couch, going for walks, playing outside, or simply following you from room to room. She’s smart, affectionate, and forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Ivy would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and/or another playful dog to help her burn energy and build confidence. Apartment living has proven challenging for her, as she can become overstimulated by constant noise, activity, and close proximity to other dogs. She would do best with owners who understand energetic breeds and are committed to providing regular exercise, enrichment, and continued training. Ivy has a huge heart and so much love to give. In the right environment, she’ll be a loyal, devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be part of the family.

Meet Ace - The Deaf-initely Awesome Adventure King! I’ll be two years old in a few months and I'm thought to be an Australian Cattle Dog and Pit Bull Terrier mix, weighing in at 46 lbs of pure love, zoomies, and main-character energy. I’m a super sweet guy who lives for affection. If you’ve got hands, I’m ready for pets. Now let’s address the elephant in the room...I’m deaf. But honestly, that just makes me cooler. No scary thunderstorms, no loud noises, no drama. Just vibes. I’m an active boy through and through. Adventures, walks, exploring, I’m all in. If you’re looking for a dog who’s down to get out and do things, I’m your guy. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a friendly dude, but first impressions matter. I do best with dogs who are social and easygoing when we meet. If a dog comes in too reactive or intense, I don’t really know what to do with that energy, especially since I can’t hear them. But give me a fun, playful friend and I’m all in. My best friend here at The Asher House is Mambo, and we have a blast together! Cats are still a mystery to me. I’ve never met one, so slow and proper introductions would be the way to go. Keeping things calm and respectful will set everyone up for success. As for kids, I’d do best in a home with kids 7 and older who understand that I’m deaf. That means no sneaking up on me and giving me space when I need it. In return, I’ll give you all the love, loyalty, and goofy moments you could ever want. I’m looking for a home that understands me, wants an active, and loving companion. Someone who is patient, consistent, and ready to build a strong bond with me. I may not hear your voice but I’ll see you, trust you, and love you with everything I’ve got! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped! Apply to meet Ace today!

Story
Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Montana was placed on final because shelter life has become overwhelming for her. Repeated encounters with unfamiliar people reaching into her kennel have left her feeling uneasy, and she may growl or show her teeth to ask for space. But outside the kennel, Montana’s true personality shines—sweet, playful, and full of love. Montana will thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and build trus ##2599337##
