Story
I rescued her a while back. She was laying in the gress at the church parking lot. Shes a timid dog but not safe around any dog. She needs to be a family owned pet with a yard. But with no other pet in the house. She is half blind but sees alright. She eats well and is very loyal and begs for attention. She would be your perfect snugglebug.

Story
Foster or forever home needed 🙏 Bella 💜 is beautiful 5 yr old female Boarder Collie is looking for a new home due to her owners medical situation and sadky needs to rehome her so sge can get the care she needs. She is healthy, active, and is microchipped and has been well cared for. She is intelligent, loyal, and thrives with structure and companionship. Like most Boarder Collies, she enjoys mental stimulation, outdoor activity, and having a purpose. She would do best with someone familiar with the breed or willing to provide regular exercise and engagement. Bella’s favorite pass time is fetching a ball. Or anything else she can find to bring you to throw. She enjoys watching out windows. Looking for anything that catches her eye. Bella is extremely gentle and patient with young children. Usually stays back and monitors their actions. As she is watching over them. She is crate trained. She finds comfort in her quiet space. Especially after a long playing session. She has lived alone and not with other dogs. But when she is around them, she has been gentle and submissive. Just may take some time for her to use to another dog home. She’s a very sweet girl that needs to be continued to be spoiled and loved

Story
Meet Lucy: Your Future Best Friend Lucy is a beautiful 2-year-old Border Collie who is ready to find a forever family to call her own! She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and healthy and happy. Lucy weighs 47 pounds. Lucy absolutely adores people. She thrives on affection, praise, and treats, and she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and lounging on beds or couches right alongside her humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be near you, Lucy is your girl. She is potty trained and doing very well with kennel training. Lucy knows her basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and is incredibly smart, true to her Border Collie roots. She learns quickly and is eager to please, making her a joy to train. Lucy generally gets along well with other dogs. She moves quickly (again, herding breed energy!), which can sometimes be a little intimidating to more reserved dogs, but she demonstrates appropriate play behavior and is submissive with her foster family’s dogs. She’s often seen “cobbing” her foster family’s puppy, her BFF, which is as adorable as it sounds. She is still learning about toys and can be unsure of toys that make sudden noises, but she’s adapting quickly and growing more confident every day. As a herding breed, Lucy has a history of chasing livestock. Fast movement excites Lucy. She has shown interest in cats, so a cat-free home or a very slow, structured introduction would be best. She has not shown any herding tendencies towards other items such as strollers or cars. Lucy truly will melt your heart. She is sweet, loyal, and ready to devote herself to a family who will continue to guide her and love her. Currently fostered in Salem, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Lucy and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. If you are not already approved, you can fill out an application here: http://herduneededahome.com/adopt-a-dog If you’re ready to add a smart, affectionate, and devoted companion to your life, Lucy is waiting to meet you!

Story
Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Montana was placed on final because shelter life has become overwhelming for her. Repeated encounters with unfamiliar people reaching into her kennel have left her feeling uneasy, and she may growl or show her teeth to ask for space. But outside the kennel, Montana’s true personality shines—sweet, playful, and full of love. Montana will thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and build trus ##2599337##

Story
✨3 YO Border Collie Mix ✨60 lbs ✨Up to date on shots ✨Neutered ✨Potty trained ✨Crate trained ✨Okay home alone during the work day ❌Not tested with cats ⚠️Slow intros with well mannered dogs Help us find Buster his forever home! This loveable, silly dog had a rough time for the past 6 months and has been with us as a foster since early January. We pulled him with the help of BAMM Rescue from Stanislaus Animal Shelter after his SOS video showed up on my social media. Buster was confiscated as evidence in an animal cruelty case against his previous owner. The case was dropped due to ‘lack of evidence.’ Buster endured a stab wound under their care and ended up stuck in the shelter for 5 months while the legal system worked it out. Then he was moved to the euthanasia list. We wanted to help get him another chance. We have no information about the case or previous owners. They cared enough about him to potty train him and teach basic obedience. The prolonged time in the shelter was very hard on him- and it’s taken some time for his mind to finally settle down and feel safe. We’ve got him in a good routine and he’s growing into a pretty well mannered boy- but he does have some work ahead of him. He’s very affectionate and just wants all the pets and cuddles. Belly rubs are his absolute favorite! He’s been great when we go to work in his dog-proofed area. He’s crate trained and potty trained- he hasn’t had any accidents in his area while we’re out for 8-9 hours. He also walks nicely on leash for a high energy breed. We use the gentle leader and he responds very well to it. He does get excited around other dogs. Once Buster has had his regular exercise he settles to his place very well. Maintaining firm boundaries with him is necessary, he’s a confident, curious boy. He’s been a good listener when we tell him to settle. He’d thrive in a household that can provide that routine and calm, firm leadership. A home that can continue to work on his training would be best.

Story
Hunter is a one year old blue heeler wire hair terrier mix. He’s an amazing dog with lots of energy. He is an amazing dog we recently moved from a 1000 sq ft apartment into a 300 sq ft trailer. We just don’t have room for him anymore. He’s a very energetic dog and requires room to run and we can’t give him that at the moment. We love him so much we just can’t provide the environment he needs.
