Story
WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET LUCY – Love sponge! Are you looking for a dog who adores people? Lucy thrives on affection, praise, and treats, and she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and lounging on beds or couches right alongside her humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be near you, Lucy is your girl.Lucy is a beautiful 2-year-old, split-faced Border Collie with a permanent smile.  She weighs 47 lbs.  She is potty trained and doing very well with kennel training. Lucy knows her basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and is incredibly smart, true to her Border Collie roots. She learns quickly and is eager to please, making her joy to train.  Lucy will melt your heart. She is sweet, loyal, and ready to devote herself to a family who will continue to guide her and love her.LUCY DOES WELL WITH:·         Other dogs – Lucy generally gets along well with other dogs, especially the boys!  She is playful and adapts her play style to the other dog.   Sometimes dominant female dogs don’t care for Lucy, so we would want her to meet female dogs in the household.  Lucy is appropriately submissive to the female dog at her current foster.·         Kids – Lucy loves teens.  She shows no reaction to strollers.  She has not been around young children.·         Adults – Lucy loves people!·         Horses – Lucy grew up around horses and does well with them.LUCY WOULD NEED HELP WITH:·         Cats – Fast movement excites Lucy. She has shown interest in cats, so a cat-free home or a very slow, structured introduction would be best.LUCY DOES NOT DO WELL WITH:·         Livestock – Lucy has a history of chasing livestock; however, she has never killed or injured another animal.THE REST OF THE IMPORTANT DETAILSLucy is spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.  She will be microchipped before adoption.  Lucy is currently in Aurora, Oregon. Her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Lucy and are pre-approved, please contact the adoption team at hunahapps@gmail.com. Story
Meet Dutch🤎, a stunningly handsome and charming almost 2-year-old boy with a rich, chocolate-brown coat and captivating blue eyes that sparkle with kindness🥰. This loving boy was welcomed into a wonderful family in the San Diego area about 8 months ago. Initially, Dutch was more reserved and fearful when rescued from the shelter, but with time, he blossomed into a confident companion for his family, except for the husband, around whom he seems anxious and stressed. Despite the husband's patient and loving approach, Dutch remains wary, prompting his family to consider finding a new home where he can thrive without fear. With his current family, Dutch has formed strong bonds with the wife and kids, who adore him dearly, but they've come to realize that a woman-only household might be the perfect solution for Dutch to live a stress-free life. His family believes Dutch may have had a negative experience with a man in the past, which has led to his hesitation around men unless they exhibit familiar characteristics. Importantly, Dutch has never shown aggression and is great with cats and other dogs, making him an excellent addition to any household. He's potty-trained, crate-trained, and loves spending time in his crate and bed. Dutch is neutered, vaccinated, and chipped, and his current family is heartbroken but hopeful that he'll find a loving home🏡 where he can receive all the love and care he deserves. If you're thinking of adding a loving companion to your family and believe you'd be the perfect match for Dutch, get your application in ASAP! This gorgeous boy will undoubtedly capture your heart💗with his loving nature.😻 Currently being cared for in Southern California, Dutch can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving family awaits to welcome him.
