Story
Hello, World. Meet Zhanna! -ADVENTURE PARTNER -OUTDOOR SUPERSTAR Zhanna is currently about 4 months old and we think she may be a Lab mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! From her foster: "She is a true herding dog and thrives with a family. She gets bored easily and will find something to do - So she'll keep you busy! She is so smart - good and bad. You gotta keep her busy too lol. She is protective and has a strong personality" Zhanna is playful and SUPER sweet. She absolutely THRIVES on affection and cuddling is her language of choice. She loves to play with other dogs and her toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Zhanna is still pretty young so she will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, she will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! Her new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As she gets older we anticipate she will be a higher energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily. She will be perfect to take on long walks around the neighborhood! Zhanna is still at the age where she can be easily socialized to coexist with children, dogs & cats! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! The adoption fee is $650 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordatella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, a microchip with an instant lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby, you also receive many other additional perks such as a 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus incredibly low pricing for future sessions, 50% off of your first BarkBox order, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our FB Adopter group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Story
We adopted Loretta at 8 weeks old from a shelter in eastern Washington, she will be 3 this August. She has been a ball of energy from day one, and doesn't look like she's slowing down. Her mom was a border collie, but we have no info on her father, our vet suspects some black Lab. Loretta is loyal, job driven and a true "herder breed". She loves our two kids, our other dog and the cat. Although she will "herd" the cat if it's trying to go outside, but never harm it. Loretta is happiest running on the beach or running on the farm. Loretta needs space and LOTS OF JOBS. She is extremely smart, and learns quickly, and will retrieve the ball obsessively for hours. No joke. Loretta barks a lot, especially at strangers at the door. She loves her routine and will go to her leash when it's time to go for a walk. Loretta goes on 2-8 mile runs with her mom...and still has energy for the day. She would be the ideal dog on a farm with a family.

Latara, Kneesa, and Malani are not ewoks but they are just as cute! They are super fun and spunky and friendly and will remain medium sized as an adult. They appear to be border collie mixes based on their current looks and size. They are absolutely beautiful and will make great family pets or adventure buddies. They were rescued from a rural shelter in Oklahoma were they were slated to be euthanized due to space. They are still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted in WA state or Oregon. They have to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in either Tacoma, Tukwila, or Portland. Be sure to watch the video as well to see how fun they are. Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, lyme vaccine x 2, fecal test, dewormed, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm prevention.
