Story
Meet Boomer A Dapper Duo Looking for a New Adventure Boozer and Boomer are a wonderful pair of seven-year-old mixed-breed gentlemen who are ready to find their new start. They have lived together their entire lives with the same loving family and get along famously, so they are the perfect ready-made pair for a home looking to add two amazing dogs at once! While they're a great team, Boozer and Boomer are not a co-dependent "bonded pair," which means they are also open to being adopted separately if the perfect single-dog home comes along. They're confident, well-adjusted dogs who would thrive either together or in their own individual homes. Both of these handsome boys are described as very dog-friendly, so they'd be great additions to a home with existing canine companions. Their previous owner describes them as beautiful, gentle, and well-behaved. What We Know About Boozer & Boomer: * Age: 7 years old * Breed: Mixed Breed * Personality: Gentle, well-behaved, and very dog-friendly * Status: A great pair who get along well, but are not a bonded pair and can be adopted together or separately. * History: Owner surrender, same owner their whole life. Boozer and Boomer are ready to share their love and friendship with a new family. They have so much love to give and would make a wonderful addition to any home. Story
At 2 years old, I’m in the prime of my life and ready to find my person! I’m a "smaller-medium" gal with a soft coat and an even softer heart once I know you. I’ll be honest: the big, loud world can be a bit scary for me sometimes. I’m what humans call "reactive," which just means I have big feelings about other dogs or fast-moving things. I’m looking for a savvy owner who understands that I’m not "bad"—I’m just sensitive. My Perfect Match: A quiet home (no busy apartment complexes, please!). Someone who enjoys positive reinforcement training (I’m very smart and eager to learn!). A yard where I can zoom without worry. In exchange, I promise to be your most devoted companion and professional foot-warmer.

Story
We adopted Val from the Walker County Animal shelter in February 2026. The vet (and shelter) estimated her age to be just over 1yr or so. She is a very sweet dog and gets along well with our 9yr old pit bull/black lab mix. She has a very sweet personality overall, but we have a cattle farm and she goes crazy trying to get after the cows. She has stampeded the cows nearly through the fence more times than I can count, so weonly take her out on a leash or put her on a 25ft runner we putin the front yard so she can get some outside time, but she loves to run and play and we just can't afford to let her do that since she gets after the cows so bad. It's becoming a hazard for her as well since she keeps getting cut up on the barbwire fences. We just want someone who willlove her to get her!

🐾 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION MID-JULY (HOPEFULLY) 🐾 Meet Honey and Juniper! These two adorable girls will be looking for their FURever homes around mid-July. They do NOT need to be adopted together—we’re simply featuring them in one post. These puppies were surrendered by their owner, and we’re also helping ensure that their mom won’t have any more litters. Honey and Juniper received their initial parvo vaccinations but unfortunately contracted parvo shortly afterward. Thankfully, it was caught early, and they have made a full recovery! 💕 Before adoption, they will be: ✔️ Updated on vaccinations ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Started on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention Born approximately mid-March, they are happy, playful puppies who will need the time, patience, training, and guidance that all puppies require. If you’d like to help with their veterinary care, parvo treatment expenses, and their mom’s spay surgery—or if you’re interested in adopting once they’re ready—please visit: www.fureverfurkids.com Every donation and share helps give these sweet girls the best possible start in life. 🙏 Adoption fee: $250 to an approved and loving FURever home.

Gunner is an incredibly handsome senior-ish (8-9 yo) neutered male Aussie mix and is looking for his forever home and family. This boy knows his basic commands…come, sit, shake, high five and stay/wait. Gunner is good on leash and enjoys walks and hikes. He does have selective hearing when he is busy. He enjoys playing ball and frisbee, is great in a vehicle and loves a pup cup!! Gunner is selective about his friends and would do well with a chill older female. Gunner also believes he would be happy just hanging with his humans (10 years and up) with all the attention for himself. (No small animals or young children. They make him nervous) Gunner would love to take walks with his person and go for rides!! Hikes in the woods are a plus. Great at the vet and groomer!! Gunner loves the RV and enjoys being a travel partner. Gunner is such a love bug and needs a person to love, his own home and yard. Let’s get #rescuestrong and give this boy the life he is deserves!! If you’re looking for a fun, handsome loving and dapper senior gent, Gunner is your guy! He is currently located in Chattanooga TN but can travel….he loves that!! Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. Story
Cookie is a sweet and easygoing Heeler/Lab mix who loves being around people. She bonds quickly and becomes very attached to her person, following them almost everywhere she goes. Cookie is calm, gentle, and enjoys playing with other dogs, and she is also wonderful with kids. She walks beautifully on a leash, does well with potty training when taken outside regularly, and does fine in her kennel. Cookie can become anxious when separated from her people and may jump fences to try to get back to them. When she is with her people, though, she settles and stays close by. She would thrive in a home where someone is around often and can give her the companionship and connection she loves so much. Cookie is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. You can apply directly for Cookie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-837 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
