Story
Meet Boomer A Dapper Duo Looking for a New Adventure Boozer and Boomer are a wonderful pair of seven-year-old mixed-breed gentlemen who are ready to find their new start. They have lived together their entire lives with the same loving family and get along famously, so they are the perfect ready-made pair for a home looking to add two amazing dogs at once! While they're a great team, Boozer and Boomer are not a co-dependent "bonded pair," which means they are also open to being adopted separately if the perfect single-dog home comes along. They're confident, well-adjusted dogs who would thrive either together or in their own individual homes. Both of these handsome boys are described as very dog-friendly, so they'd be great additions to a home with existing canine companions. Their previous owner describes them as beautiful, gentle, and well-behaved. What We Know About Boozer & Boomer: * Age: 7 years old * Breed: Mixed Breed * Personality: Gentle, well-behaved, and very dog-friendly * Status: A great pair who get along well, but are not a bonded pair and can be adopted together or separately. * History: Owner surrender, same owner their whole life. Boozer and Boomer are ready to share their love and friendship with a new family. They have so much love to give and would make a wonderful addition to any home. Story
At 2 years old, I’m in the prime of my life and ready to find my person! I’m a "smaller-medium" gal with a soft coat and an even softer heart once I know you. I’ll be honest: the big, loud world can be a bit scary for me sometimes. I’m what humans call "reactive," which just means I have big feelings about other dogs or fast-moving things. I’m looking for a savvy owner who understands that I’m not "bad"—I’m just sensitive. My Perfect Match: A quiet home (no busy apartment complexes, please!). Someone who enjoys positive reinforcement training (I’m very smart and eager to learn!). A yard where I can zoom without worry. In exchange, I promise to be your most devoted companion and professional foot-warmer.

Story
Piper was adopted as a puppy in Dallas, Texas in 2018. She made the move to Chattanooga with us in 2021, and we have since added three young children under age 4 in our home. Piper does not prefer the loud noise and play of little children. She would make a great companion for a family with another dog or with older children who can help take care of her. She is protective and loyal. She is unsure around new people but quickly warms up when other dogs are around. She is also very athletic and enjoys running and jumping. Looking for a loving family to give her a great home, preferably with lots of space for her to run and play outside.

Story
Bonnie is a sweet, family friendly dog! She’s extremely loyal and submissive. She’s a herding dog, however, so she thinks she needs to round other dogs and kids up 😊 She also loves to run and be active. She’s protective and obedient, and has been a great addition to our home. We’re moving and can’t take her with us, so are looking for a loving home to place her in.

Story
Roxy is 8 months old. I got her from family that unfortunately couldn't keep her. I offered to temporarily take her and try to find the right home for her. She does get nervous and skiddish around people she is not familiar with. When I brought her to my house she warmed up quick and sat next to me. She is the same way with my other dog they are both very playful together now, at first she would growl but never bit him. A home with a fenced in yard would be ideal for her and someone who knows how to work with dogs and help her get comfortable with walking on a leash.

Story
Meet Leo, a vibrant border collie mix who weighs just a little under 70lbs. At 8 1/2 years young, Leo is still bursting with energy and enthusiasm. He thrives in the company of big dogs, and his best friend Cubby shares his love for exploring our scenic pond area. Leo has mastered the art of sitting, lying, and spinning, showcasing his intelligence and trainability. As he requires a fenced-in yard to prevent his curious nature from getting the better of him, a secure outdoor space is a must. Unfortunately, Leo needs a home with no small dogs or cats. Are you ready to welcome Leo into your life and share in his joy? He has been with us for over 2 years, and we can't wait to find him his forever home.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved.
