Story
Gunner is an incredibly handsome senior-ish (8-9 yo) neutered male Aussie mix and is looking for his forever home and family. This boy knows his basic commands…come, sit, shake, high five and stay/wait. Gunner is good on leash and enjoys walks and hikes. He does have selective hearing when he is busy. He enjoys playing ball and frisbee, is great in a vehicle and loves a pup cup!! Gunner is selective about his friends and would do well with a chill older female. Gunner also believes he would be happy just hanging with his humans (10 years and up) with all the attention for himself. (No small animals or young children. They make him nervous) Gunner would love to take walks with his person and go for rides!! Hikes in the woods are a plus. Great at the vet and groomer!! Gunner loves the RV and enjoys being a travel partner. Gunner is such a love bug and needs a person to love, his own home and yard. Let’s get #rescuestrong and give this boy the life he is deserves!! If you’re looking for a fun, handsome loving and dapper senior gent, Gunner is your guy! He is currently located in Chattanooga TN but can travel….he loves that!! Here is the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Looking for a pup who loves you sole-fully? Sandie is a vibrant, affectionate young dog with a cheeky sense of humor and a heart as big as her personality. She’s a true "velcro dog"—she doesn’t just want your affection; she insists on it! Sandie has mastered the art of the stealth lap-jump, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly find a warm, happy dog claiming your lap as her throne. She’ll seek you out throughout the day to make sure her "love tank" is fully topped off, bringing energy, playfulness, and joy wherever she goes. Sandie is currently in her “investigative phase,” which means she has a particular passion for fashion—specifically, your shoes! She’ll need a home with plenty of sturdy toys to keep her busy and a family that can keep an eye on her (and their closets). With the right guidance and a little management, Sandie’s enthusiasm for life can be channeled into fun, positive activities. The ideal home for Sandie is one with someone who enjoys puppy antics, has an open lap, and understands that a little structure goes a long way with an enthusiastic chewer. In return, Sandie will shower her family with laughter, love, and surprise lap cuddles every single day. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Sandie is ready to meet you!

While his dad is a mystery, we have the inside scoop on his mom: she’s a DNA-verified mix of 71% Australian Shepherd and 29% German Shepherd. Teddy has clearly inherited that stunning black coat and the focused, intelligent gaze that Shepherds are famous for. At almost 4 months old, Teddy is a "medium" breed pup who is ready to learn everything you want to teach him. He’s the perfect age to start puppy classes and bond with a family who loves the active, loyal nature of herding breeds. Whether it's a game of fetch or a long cuddle session, Teddy is ready to be your most devoted companion.
