Story
Sirius may be the biggest of his six siblings, but it’s his heart that truly makes him stand out. This good-natured boy is as sweet as they come—content with the simplest joys in life. A gentle “atta boy” or a quick pat is all it takes to make his day complete. With his easygoing spirit and loving nature, Sirius is ready to share his big heart with a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them. Could you be the one to make Sirius’ simple pleasures last a lifetime? All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue our work. Sublime K9 in Jefferson City has a basic 4 week training program with owner and dog. It covers leash training and basic commands. This program would be available at no cost if Sirius' adopter is interested. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.

Story
Meet Saffron 🤍🐾 Saffron is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix (her mama is a Border Collie, dad is a mystery!) with the sweetest soul and the cutest quirky personality to match. She’s spent her whole life growing up at Noah’s Arc, and now she’s finally getting a taste of home life in foster — and absolutely thriving. Her foster mom says she’s doing so well and describes her as gentle, loving, and adorably goofy. She’s the kind of pup who will quietly lean into you for pets, then turn around and make you laugh with her silly expressions and playful antics. She has that soft, sensitive Border Collie heart with just the right dash of fun. Saffron is: 🐾 Great with other dogs 🐾 Cat friendly 🐾 Kid friendly 🐾 Sweet, calm, and affectionate She loves being near her people, enjoys playtime, and settles in nicely for cozy snuggles. After spending her whole life waiting, she’s more than ready for a family to finally call her own. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle best friend with a little sparkle of personality, Saffron is your girl. 💛 Apply to adopt through Noah’s Arc and come meet this special sweetheart!
