Story
Patrick is a *beautiful* 8-month-old Border Collie that was a stray. We found the owner but he does not want him back. He has a very sad story for being so young, but it doesn't seem to have affected his super-friendly, happy-go-lucky temperament. The guy just LOVES people. He's also very playful with other dogs, but...there's a personality clash between our old, grumpy dogs (one in particular) and playful Patrick, and always keeping them apart is difficult. We're over-limit on dogs here, as we already have 3 of our own. We've rehabilitated him and as of now he's healthy: de-wormed, de-burred, de-ticked, de-flea'd (to the tune of a $500 vet bill...but we're happy to do it to get him out of a bad situation). He is Heartworm and Parvo negative. He's also nicely bathed and groomed and ready to roll!

Story
Hi, my name is Sissy! I am the best girl, so patient, sweet, and gentle! I am spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. I am approximately 3 yrs old. I was adopted from the shelter when I was 8 months, but my dad got a job where he has to work a lot more so I need a home that can give me the love and attention I should have. I love being outside and would love to have a fenced yard to bask in the sun all day, or just hang out by your chair with you. I love to go to bed for a snack, and am quiet in my crate at night. I know some things like sit, down, shake, and wait. I don't lick or bite and take treats ever so gently. I LOVE belly rubs. I could have my belly rubbed and be massaged all day long! I even prefer rubs over treats! I seem to like children and love other dogs. I like to hunt so small animals might not be best, but I've never actually met a cat, so I'm not sure! I would make a wonderful first dog for any family regardless of activity level or experience.

Story
Pixie is a border collie mix estimated to be about 9 years old. She came to us after her owner was evicted and she and her brother Oreo were abandoned. Her brother has been adopted. Pixie is currently in foster and this description was provided by her foster mom: Pixie is a very sweet and loving dog. She gets along well with my two small dogs and five cats. She is crate trained, house trained and good on a leash. She is healthy and a good eater weighing about 40 lbs. Pixie is a follower and she likely will need another dog to be her leader. Sometimes when I let her out to do her business, she waits by the door until my little shih-tzu comes out and then Pixie follows her out into the yard. My yorkie mix is pee pad trained and she has taught Pixie to use the pee pad too. Pixie is fine being out in my fenced yard if she has company but otherwise she prefers being inside. If you are interested in meeting Pixie just call the shelter and we will set up a time for you to meet her. Dogs & Puppies Adoption Fee are by age; Puppies 1-11 months, $140, 1-5 yrs $110, over 5 yrs $95. Includes all age appropriate Vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, & HW test if old enough, and dewormed. We don't do HW tests on anything younger than 6 months, because it will not detect. Estimated Birthday 08-23-2014.

Story
This little dolls name is NATALIE. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her ... Super sweet Adorable Playful Intrigued with cats but doesn't hurt them Plays with all my dogs nicely but likes to bite their tails which aggravates them Loves tovs Snuggles Very loving Not a mean bone in her body Loves running around the yard Loves attention but doesn't demand it She hasn't barked when the other dogs bark, only when she's aggravating them We're working on sit and not taking my finger off with treats She likes the bed, couch, and dog beds She rides in the car in a kennel but doesn't whine or fuss alot She's pretty close to perfect in my eyes. She is approximately one and a half and just a pleasure to have around. Natalie has a great personality and can just light up the room with her spunkiness and energy. She is also a wonderful hugger and a snuggler. She’d make a wonderful walking/running companion or pal for another playful dog. Natalie is fostering in a wonderful home in Memphis, Tn with lots of other dogs and people so she is learning all kinds of socialization skills. Once adopted she will travel via private transport (transport cost is $150.00) to a location closest to you.
