Tatiana is a beautiful 1-year-old border collie mix with a heart just as sweet as her face. She absolutely loves people and will happily soak up all the attention and affection you're willing to give. She also loves being outside. Whether it's stretching her legs, exploring the yard, or playing well with other dogs and enjoys having playmates around. Inside, she has very nice manners and is learning the ropes of home life. She's currently working on her house training and continuing to make progress every day. Tatiana is spayed and up to date on all her vetting, so she's ready to find a family of her own. Scotch is a 6-year-old Husky/Border Collie mix who has been waiting for her forever family for 3 YEARS. She is officially our longest resident, and we just know her perfect person is out there. Scotch is incredibly smart, playful, and full of personality. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs, splashing around in the water, and chasing a good old-fashioned tennis ball. She’s the kind of girl who would thrive with someone who wants to keep her mind and body busy and give her all the fun and adventure she deserves. One important note: we do not recommend Scotch for a home with cats. She is not aggressive toward them at all, but she becomes extremely hyper-focused on cats, and that just hasn’t worked well in homes with kitties. After three years of waiting, Scotch deserves to know what it feels like to finally be someone’s girl. Adoption fee $75. ##1765263##

This is a brother and sister set. Brownie is the female and Delroy the male. They were born around thanksgiving last year. My father in law didn’t take care of them and they are being left with my brother in law who does not care for them the way they need to be. They are sweet dogs and we are unable to have them where we are moving to in three weeks and we want to make sure they have a good home and can stay together. We just paid to have them fully vaccinated and vetted.

Ludine arrived at Horse Creek on March 10, 2023. She is a sweet and gentle girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs and enjoys receiving all the attention from people that they are willing to give her. She is a little shy when first meeting someone new, but warms up quickly when given lots of reassurance. Ludine is a beautiful Border Collie mix and she weighs 39 pounds. This sweet girl will return your devotion if you are fortunate enough to be her loving forever family. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. You can find our application at www.horsecreekwildlife.org/applic.html. Once completed, you can forward it to adoptions@horsecreekwildlife.org or fax it to 731-926-3000. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.

(shhhh don't tell the others I said that) He is a solid mix of playful and lazy. He is good with throwing the ball around, or laying around soaking up the sun. He is heartworm negative, neutered and up to date on shots. He is ready to brighten your day all you have to do is say yes.

WINSTON🫶🏻🐾 Our longest shelter resident let’s get this baby adopted ❤️ he deserves a loving home🥰 Winston has went on 2 trial runs, and has been returned both times. The two ladies who have tried him, have cried over bringing him back- he is just that good.. BUT… Winston needs a home with no other dogs, he gets very possessive over what’s “his” and doesn’t like to share his person. He doesn’t do it at the shelter, only in a home environment. Other than that, we have absolutely nothing bad to say about him! He is vetted, neutered, and ready to go! This boy is WONDERFUL 💕🫶 literally, that’s his only downfall. Winston struggles being in the shelter and shuts down, so we need to get him moved rather quick. He would be excellent for someone retired and needing a companion, or a young family! He loves everyone 🥰 SHARE THIS BOY AND LETS BUST HIM OUT OF HIS KENNEL 💗💗💗
