Story
Bodie, along with his brother and sister, was welcomed to Horse Creek Wildlife on January 8, 2025. He has such a sweet spirit and loves everyone he meets! He plays great with other dogs in our exercise areas and loves receiving attention from everyone. Bodie is a cute mixed breed and he weighs 28 pounds. He is a wonderful dog! He is anxiously waiting to find a loving forever family. Could that family be yours? If so, he promises to love you forever and ever! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.

Story
Zeedee was welcomed to Horse Creek Wildlife on January 8, 2025, along with her two brothers. She enjoys running and playing with her brothers, Adam and Bodie, in the exercise areas. She also loves receiving attention from people. Zeedee is a pretty Red Heeler mix weighing 35 pounds. She will make the perfect companion for a family that will give her lots of love. She is ready to run and play and take long naps in someone’s lap! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Story
Lady is very sweet and gentle, yet shy and timid.  Lady is house and crate trained. Walks very well on a leash. Lady loves to play fetch and absolutely loves toys.  Lady does very well with other dogs when introduced properly. Lady did very well with cats until she was attacked by a cat. Lady is now fearful of cats. She will not chase them. She runs away and barks at them. Lady can overcome this if she is introduced properly and has someone to advocate for her with boundaries set for cats.April 19, 2025, 11:41 am
