Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
This is Gumbo, a 6 month old Border collie mix. She is microchipped and spayed, and only needs one more shot. She loves to play fetch, loves toys and treats, and loves to snuggle with you. We are having to urgently rehome her due to a family member’s medical condition causing us to be full time caregivers to him. We cannot give her the attention she deserves.

Story
We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
This handsome black and white darling boy is called Ross and we have determined that he is a Border Collie/Border Terrier mix that is estimated to be 12 weeks old and weighs 14 pounds.  This boy and his sister, Rachel, were abandoned in a small rural area of Tennessee at a cabin that was a parttime retreat for a family that lived 200 miles away.  Fortunately ,the cabin’s doorbell camera  caught these puppies being abandoned and alerted the property owner that these poor puppies were in trouble with no food or water anywhere around.  To make matters worse, impending frigid weather was on its way to their area.  The doors opened and rescue forces got to work quickly to go and pick up the puppies and carry them to a Critter Cavalry Rescue foster home.   This puppy and his sister are both smart and anxious to please.  Ross wants to be someone's special Valentine. He is crate trained and learning what it's like to be in a warm and loving home.  It's hard to imagine that only 2 weeks ago some cold-hearted person dumped him and his sister Rachel to possibly die from lack of care or food.  God was with them in finding immediate help and they have been worth every effort.  So sweet and loving and innocent.  Beautiful pups with wiry faces and sleek Terrier bodies that bring a smile when you meet them.  Ross is being neutered on Feb. 4th and will be ready for a forever home on Valentine’s Day.  We estimate that he will grow to be a 40 pound handsome boy that will bring so much fun, love and adventure to the person or persons who adopt him.  If you are wanting a wonderful rescue puppy to raise and love then please consider Ross.   Critter Cavalry Rescue transports from Nashville, Tn to the northeast and of course local Tennessee adoptions are welcome, too.  Please email asking for an application to ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
