She prefers dogs her size or smaller. She has been miserable, hanging out at the furthest part of the house, away from our other dogs that grew up too big for her, and she refuses to interact with them.

We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character. A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive. He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity. Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating. Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him. He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown. His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring. Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself. Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes. At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or your local neighborhood. He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS! To our Boy George they are just another friend in life! We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard. He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber. But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day. Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this. Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone. But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George. Meet Artsy Marcy – A Survivor with a Brilliant Mind and an Even Bigger Heart Artsy Marcy is a beautiful Border Collie mix, around 2 years old and weighing 55–60 pounds. Her life began with unimaginable hardship, yet she has never let her past define her. It is believed that Marcy and her siblings were abandoned in a remote rural area of Tennessee. While trying to survive on their own, tragedy struck when they were hit by a train. Her sister did not survive, and Marcy was left with a severely dislocated hip. Thanks to a compassionate foster who refused to give up on her, Marcy received the surgery and care she desperately needed. Today she has only a slight limp—a small reminder of just how far she has come. Marcy is everything you would expect from a Border Collie mix: incredibly intelligent, observant, athletic, and eager to be part of whatever her people are doing. She loves hiking, exploring, and would thrive in an active home where she can exercise both her body and her mind. She has a natural herding instinct and enjoys having a job or purpose. She is wonderful with people and genuinely enjoys human companionship. While she may be a little shy during first introductions, she warms up quickly and forms strong, loyal bonds. Once she trusts you, she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to please. Marcy has lived around cats, but she does have a prey drive, so any home with cats should be experienced and committed to proper introductions and management. She also does well with some dogs but can be selective about her canine companions. Like many intelligent, confident working breeds, she appreciates respectful introductions and clear leadership. She would do best with an adopter who understands Border Collie personalities and will provide consistent structure, training, and outlets for her energy. Marcy isn't looking to be just another dog lying quietly in the corner. Nash is 2 1/2 years old. We adopted him from a breeder at 11 months old. The breeder planned on breeding him but decided not to. He was an outside dog prior to us adopting him. He has spent his entire time with us as an inside dog, sleeping in the house. Great with kids - frequently around kids ranging from infant to 10 years old. Great with dogs - we have an 11 year old German Shepherd. Great with chickens - we have 12 free range chickens; frequently lays in the shade with the chickens. Mastered fetch - not only will he bring the ball back but he has learned to time it so the ball rolls to your feet so he doesn't have to stop running. Anxiety - normal in Australian Shepherds. He has high anxiety with traveling in a car and motion sickness on longer rides. We haven't had issues taking him to the vet (15-20 minute drive) he just doesn't relax during the ride.

Zara is a sweet, playful, four month old cattle dog mix. We rescued her from an owner who could not take care of her but we can't keep her long term. She is doing well on walks, leash training, crate training, sleeping through the night, house trained, and other basic commands like sit, down, off, leave it, stay, and recently shake - she is very smart and treat motivated. She loves people and is especially great with kids. She is fully vaccinated and has been given a clean bill of health by our vet. She is super sweet, very social, great with kids, loves walks and fetch, and ready for her forever home. She will come with food, supplies, and all her fun toys.
