Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

So, have you ever written a novel??? Or maybe just a paper for your Bachelor's degree?? Well then ACE is something you would completely understand, right?? A-Answer, C-Cite, E-Explain.... so now you know, my name may represent some kind of forgettable nightmares from English Lit... but you can now exchange that nightmare with LOVE and PUPPY FUN!!! Ace is my name, I am a sweet boy, maybe border collie/lab mix who has a way with words :) Barking that is!!! No I am not a serial barker, I am kind of a quiet guy, whose love you will see in my eyes, not in your ears :D I am such a good boy, I never want to end up on the streets like I was found, and this is where you come into the picture! I am ready for adoption! I am ready for you! I am ready to live my forever life with my forever family :) ADOPT.... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! The Pearl of the ocean is who I am. And who doesn't want the most incredible gift from the ocean on their very own couch??? :) I am Pearl and my pearlescent coat shines bright...but I wasn't always this beautiful and wasn't cherished as I am now. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder... and the rescue people saw beauty when they saw me... I had 8 beautiful babies and was at the pound waiting to get out,

Story
Finn is a 6 year old pure bred Border Collie. He loves playing frisbee outside and loves running and splashing around in the lake. Finn has some anxiety when it comes to being indoors and around young children. Finn would love a home that has no children and a lot of room to be outside most of the day. He was bred to be a working farm dog. He is really good off leash outside and will stay by your side. He is very smart and is good with commands. He has a sweet side to him, but he also loves his personal space.

Story
Eva came from a hoarding situation. She was adopted through Nashville Humane. She is a sweet and happy girl! She does struggle with Resource guarding, which is understandable given her start in life. She thrives in an environment with quiet and predictable routines. She is truly a joy, but we cannot keep her. We have grandchildren who visit frequently, and this change of pace is too much for her. We want a good and stable home for our sweet girl!

Story
Friendly Finn is a lucky dog.  You know one of those who was in a really bad shelter that was run by lazy people who didn’t care if any of the dogs got out alive.  He is a handsome and very friendly Border Collie/Pointer mix that is truly a good looking dog who is about 3 years old, fully vetted, 35 pounds and was at the shelter for 2 years.  TRUTH!   How awful that this beautiful soul was there in that dirty place and in the tiny kennel run with another dog. He wasn’t fed much and he is lucky to have survived the torture of that specific shelter.   Friendly is a good word for Finn since he is good with other dogs and kids unknown.  He is surprisingly very good on a leash, but his nerves can get the best of him when riding in a car.  He might need a little medication till he gets used to riding.  Finn needs a big yard or maybe daily trips to a dog park.  We want him to live a life that is not limited as he has experienced these past 2+ years in the shelter.  If you are interested in Fostering or Adopting Finn please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 9, 2024, 1:50 pm

Story
Kenzie is a beautiful young, 2 year old example of a stunning Border Collie that is in need of the right home that understands her specialness as a breed. This girl is only 40 pounds and still very much a puppy in her body and soul.  She loves to play in water, like a plastic kiddie pool that is easy to have in the backyard and she is always absorbing new things to learn.  This 40 pound girl is great with other dogs, cats (lived in one) and she is still in her herding mode and young children would not be recommended.  Kenzie is housebroken, crate trained and is needing a strong leader and family that loves who she is as a breed and willing to take the time to shape and mold her.  She is a stunning dog in manners and personality.   We love Kenzie and she promises to be more than you could ever want in life as a family companion.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Ollie is a beautiful, black bi Border Collie registered with the ABCA. He enjoys herding activities and herding games. Has experience with poultry. Will excel with cattle. His bloodlines come from strong working lines. Ollie is on the calm side for a Border Collie and is very loving to his family. He is easy to train and VERY eager to please and HIGHLY intelligent (learns in less than 3 repetitions). Loves children and other dogs and meeting new people. He has been socialized ALOT. Outside, he is up for any activity - loves his herding balls. Full Panel Genetic tested through PawPrints Genetics and Embark with no health issues. Ollie is neutered and being sold as pet-only. Ollie turned out to be too large to breed with our Dam so we are rehoming him. Based on his current weight at 7 months (apx 40 pounds) he should be around 50 pounds or so full grown.

MEET ONE OF THE BASEBALL TEAMS LITTER PUPPIES! This little one is one of 9 adorable babies are almost six weeks old and will be ready to go home on April 30th. They had their check-ups and first round of puppy shots and all are deemed to be perfect (but we already knew that ) At 5 1/2 weeks they already weigh between 7.3 and 10.9 lbs! So they are on track to be medium to large sized adult dogs. Beautiful mama is 55 lbs, but most of the puppies look like they will be bigger than their mama when they are done growing. The general consensus on mama is that she is Bull Terrier (not pit bull terrier) mix, but we can't figure out what she might be mixed with. The puppies looks a lot like Border Collie or Australian Shepherd mix, but that is just our best guess too. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration.

Story
In a world of fur and joy, there's a Heeler named Brownie, oh so coy, With fur as red as autumn leaves, he's the cleverest of canine thieves. At two, he's full of boundless glee, a furry friend for you and me. Smart as a whip, this Heeler boy, his heart's a treasure, a boundless joy. In tricks and flips, he finds delight, learning with all his canine might. Two years old, his spirit free, a loyal friend, he longs to be. Attuned to you, his person dear, his love's a bond that's crystal clear. Bestest friend, he aims to be, beside you through eternity. Fetch and roll, and sit and stay, he'll dance and prance, bright as the day. With every bark, a tale he'll weave, of loyalty that won't deceive. He dreams of walks and treats galore, his heart, your love, forevermore. Brownie, the Heeler, red and bright, a canine star, a pure delight. In fields of green and skies so blue, he'll be the bestest friend to you. Brownie has the desire to be with his person and would make a great and loving support dog or full time companion. Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait!
