Story
Sparky is a sweet girl with a calm spirit and a gentle heart. She is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and gets to know you, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. Sparky is currently heartworm positive and will need extra TLC and a committed adopter to see her through her treatment. Her treatment will be covered by donations from the Angel Fund. She is worth every bit of love and care you can give her. If you are looking for a quiet low-key friend for $75 she can be yours. She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines and had all flea/heartworm prevention. Please note: All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoors with supervised playtime outside only.

Story
This handsome 4.5 month old puppster is called Boy George and he is what you would call….a character.  A Border Collie mix puppy who is smart and mischievous and a leader in life.  He was born in a litter of 8 puppies around the middle of October and he was the biggest kid in the bunch. He is laidback yet very much an involved pup when it comes to creating dog events that are fun and inquisitive.  He is one that doesn’t back down because he knows that he can win the challenge with his tenacity.  Boy George has conquered all the obligations in his life to learn about housebreaking, crate time and how to walk on a leash with at least a B- rating.  Practice will make perfect when in a family that has more one on one time for him.  He is going to be a 55 pound boy once he is grown.  His Mom is Blue Eyed Kaye and she is a wonderful girl with a happy demeanor and has certainly passed it along to all her sweet offspring.  Boy George is a good pup but he is looking for an even smarter owner that will figure him out before he slips one in on you. He is loving and can be an attention grabber because when you are raised in a pack of 8 siblings, you kind of crave some private time for yourself.  Boy George will be a fun pup to raise and one that will excel at puppy training classes.  At 18 weeks of age and 32 pounds, he is a great size to take on car rides, walks on a trail or  your local neighborhood.  He will welcome new dogs and people to meet and did we mention that he LOVES CATS!   To our Boy George they are just another friend in life!   We will require a home with a securely fenced yard so that this boy can explore and hang out in the great outdoors/backyard.  He is not a digger and he is not a fence climber.  But he is a dog that requires the stimulation both physically and mentally every day.  Teach him things and he will make you a proud dog owner. Someone is looking for a dog like this.  Maybe an only dog in the home or just a great addition because he will be play buddies with anyone.  But always know that you must be the leader of your pack and Boy George.  He craves the boundaries and rules.  He thrives best not having his way and is so moldable.  If interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Mention where you live, city and state.  Transport is available to the northeast outside of Tennessee where he is being fostered PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.April 22, 2025, 3:33 pm

Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie and she is a Border Collie mix  from what we can tell due to her size, temperament and the very silky soft fur that adorns her.  This girl is about 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds and is such a spunky and active girl that is happy, charming, and ready for any adventure that you want to ask her to join you in.  Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of  neglect.   Our girl Kenzie is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Her persona is one of vibrance in life and resilience, topped with confidence.  She adores other dogs, young children and never meets an adult stranger.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold, happy and full of smiles and energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good love to others and good love will come back to her. And that is what we have promised her at Critter Cavalry Rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. Our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. She brings great karma to all who meet her.   If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. She is located in Nashville, TN and able to transport on a weekend to the northeast to a new family. Story
Nelly is a purebred Border Collie who is 5 years old, 45 pounds, and has lived her entire life outside.....until now.  We were told by a neighbor that over the years,  she has had multiple litters of pups and was pretty much neglected. Her owner ended up being incarcerated and we were able to get her original owner to surrender her to the rescue. This vibrant girl is now housebroken and wonderful with children. Other dogs and even good with cats.   We have spayed her so that she will never have to deal with giving birth to puppies outdoors ever again. When considering Nelly, we highly encourage you to do your research on Border Collies! They are NOT apartment dogs because they need a job! She is super intelligent but she needs room to run and in her case we insist on a FENCED YARD. Nelly is full of love and energy and is absolutely wonderful with young children, so much so, that you can probably train her to be their 'Nanny'!  Nelly promises a family or couple,  many years of fun and entertainment!   If you qualify with the fenced yard, the ability to give her the mental and physical stimulation every day, and of course, the devoted love, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   She is in Tennessee, but we do transport to the northeast with our van filled with adopted dogs and cats every weekend     Currently in Tennessee, Nelly can hitch a ride to the Northeast in our cozy adoption van — traveling alongside a crew of fellow rescues heading to their forever homes.  Ready to make her part of your pack?Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let them know you’re ready to welcome this amazing girl into your heart and home. Nelly’s finally living the life she deserves. Maybe… just maybe, it’s with you.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.May 10, 2025, 8:54 pm

Story
We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
I found angel on the street at three weeks old all alone and he was the most precious thing ever, he wasn’t scared or anything just really excited I was there to save him. He’s about six months now and still sweet as ever. He loves affection he just wants to love and to be loved. He also loves playing and needs to have a yard to run and exercise in. If he doesn’t get the right amount of exercise daily he can be restless. While this isn’t a requirement I think it would be good for him to have other dogs to play with. He would be a great dog for families as all he wants to do is love and play.

Story
This sweet boy is about 2 years old. He’s playful, kind, and once he gets to know you, incredibly loyal and protective. It breaks my heart to let him go, but I’m relocating to another country and want to find someone who will love and care for him the way he truly deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, he might be the perfect fit.
