Story
Comer was originally taken in as a stray and kept for 3+ months. They surrendered him to us do to no longer being able to financially provide for him. This old boy did well around the owners' kids and chickens, but not so well with cats/kittens. Comer is kind and docile until storms come around, causing him anxiety where he tends to run away out of fear. Since he is old, Comer does have some arthritis and is sore near his rear end. His owners did take him to the vet, where they prescribed anxiety and arthritis meds. Due to his age, this nice boy does have trouble putting on/keeping weight. Despite all of this, Comer is very very sweet!

Story
Looking for a young female to adopt? Meet JUNO! Juno is a Border Collie lovers DREAM! She is everything you would want in a BC puppy (under 1 year old). She is a lovely girl and full of energy, well trained for the most part. Happy, healthy, spayed, FUN, and BEAUTIFUL, this pup is magnificent! She loves to swim, play with toys, and do tricks for treats! She is fostered in a home with cats and doesn't seem bothered by them. Sometimes she wants to play (which is not allowed, cat's preference) but is not aggressive with them. She has been around very young children a little bit but her puppy energy is too much for small children. Children over age 10 who know how to handle a dog should be ok. She crates well. If you seriously want a stunning BC pup, this is your girl! Apply to adopt at bcrrt.com.

Story
Miss Dottie's a gem of a pup with a sweet and calm demeanor. She is young, healthy and affectionate. If you sit or lie down, she's right there beside you. If you take a walk she eagerly follows and checks-in with a touch of her head or nose to your hand. She's happy to laze on the couch or run in the backyard. Enjoys car rides and playing with her doggy housemate. Would be good with a companion dog or by herself. Cohabitates well with the cat in the house. Loves meeting new people. Estimated to be less than a year old, she's all gangly limbs and cute awkwardness. Major wiggle butt when excited. House and crate trained. Still a puppy with chewing urges so needs redirection to appropriate options. She's on the larger size although not very heavy, currently 40 lbs. Spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Dottie is in the DFW area.

Story
Meet Link! Link is a sweet, loving puppy who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He is about 4 months old, 25 pounds, healthy, fully vaccinated. He is too young to be neutered just yet. He’s curious and inquisitive, but also eager to please and looks to his human for reassurance. Currently fostered in Huntsville, AL, Link lives happily alongside both cats and dogs. He adores his older canine foster brothers and is very interested in making friends with his feline companions. This smart pup is doing wonderfully with potty training—he’ll even go to the back door to let you know when it’s time. He’s also learning to be comfortable in his crate, though he may whine a bit to remind you that he’d prefer to be with you. Link has already picked up on several basic commands like leave it, drop it, and down. Like any young pup, he’ll need continued patience and consistency, but he’s a quick learner. He’s also shown a love for balls and is well on his way to becoming a fetching pro! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate puppy who will grow into a wonderful companion with the right guidance, Link may just be the perfect match for you. to adopt Link, please go to bcrrt.com to complete an application,
