Tulip is such a wonderful girl. She is quite timid at first but warm up to her people. She is good with other dogs but does like to chase smaller animals. She loves scratches and belly rubs. She is house trained and wonderful on a leash. She will even go outside without a leash and listen to recall. Tulip is very gentle and loves toys but does not seem to enjoy fetching. While I am very sad to have to rehome her, she has not been getting along with our other dog who is a female. I feel she would do best in a home where there are other male dogs or a submissive female. She doesn’t like being crated or isolated - a home where she can get all the love and attention would be best.

Once she gets to know another dog, she loves having the company to play with. She does not do well with other dominant females, but is doing great with her foster brother who is submissive. She does good with older kids (6+) and loves to give kisses. She is leash trained and pulls only if she finds something good to smell or finds a squirrel she is interested in. She is looking for her FURever home and would love to be apart of your home!

I’m a small girl (34 lbs), 1.5 years old, spayed, healthy, vaccinated BC/Mini Aussie mix. I like training exercises (treats!) and learn fast! I sleep deeply through the night in my comfy crate and don’t mind spending a bit of time there during the day if you have to run errands (like getting me new tennis balls!) I have a busy mind, will bark at sudden noises (so apartment living would not be a good fit). I can be picky about canine friends and not a good buddy for birds, cats, squirrels, rabbits, or small children.
