Story
SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family. Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic. Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family. For more information on adopting Finn, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com or call 903-967-3226.

Story
Crosby - unclaimed stray from city pound now available for adoption. This social guy will require a securely fenced yard and will likely benefit from lots of interaction with his adopter. He has nice leash manners and knows "sit, come, down." Crosby rides well in a car. Appears to be house-trained and kennel-trained, is very chill in the house and loves being with his people. He absolutely needs to be in a cat-free environment and most likely no small animals including small dogs and chickens as he has a strong prey drive. To make an appointment to meet Crosby complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt $75 adoption fee includes neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. He tested POS for heartworms, completed his treatment through the DAWG program and has now had two consecutive NEG tests. Like all dogs in this area he will need to stay on heartworm prevention for life.

Story
Meet adorable little Kirby. She is 2.5 months old and weighs 6 lbs. She was found as a stray at a local park, so we have no idea about her heritage, but we are guessing that she could be a Border Collie/Beagle mix, emphasis on guessing. Foster mom says that Kirby is super sweet and cuddly. She loves people and other dogs. At night, she loves to sleep snuggled up to the resident big dog. Since Kirby is so young, she will do better in a home with another friendly dog who will help her feel more secure. If she will be an only puppy, she needs an adopter who is home most of the time. Housetraining is a work in progress, but she is food and treat motivated, so she should learn quickly if a little treat is offered as a reward. If you are interested in meeting Kirby, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Sadie is a spayed female Border Collie Mix who is estimated to be about 1 year old and weighs 60.0 lbs. Sadie is a friendly dog who loves people. She is a little excitable when she first meets someone, but calms down quickly. Sadie pulls on the leash but can be controlled. She knows how to sit and is gentle when taking treats. Sadie loves playing fetch. Sadie is a medium energy dog who is happy to relax indoors or go for a long walk. She has been dog tested and does well with most other dogs, but would need a slow introduction if there are cats in the home.To see more pictures, click this link:https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1ATF-YgSCSfu_C1gU-ggmW4L2udRUGbuO

Story
Buck is a wonderful dog. He is a beautiful puppy that loves to play, snuggle, and go on walks. He is very gentle with our 3 young boys, and consistently gets bullied by our cats and never pushes back. Unfortunately I’m getting out of the military and things are financially uncertain and we need to find him a good home, a home he deserves. You will love Buck like we have.
