My name is Sydney and I am a 30 lb, 3 year old Mini Aussie mix, spayed, healthy, athletic, and FUN! I love people, food (all food, especially spinach!), and tennis balls. I also enjoy car rides, going to fun places (especially if you help me not feel overwhelmed by too many stranger dogs), playing fetch (best thing on the planet!), and crushed ice! My Faux Mom and I have been working really hard to get me ready for you! I have nice house manners, and am learning to have nice manners with other dogs. I live with a dog who tolerates my Mini Aussie herding style and the way I alert them to noises and squirrels! My dog friends need to give me a little space, and be OK with sharing all their toys. I eat in my crate so my dog friend doesn’t have to worry that I’ll eat all her food and we can both eat in peace. I sleep through the night in my crate, and am crated when no people are home, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m hoping for a home with a nice yard for ball play (do this enough, and I won’t need a lot of other exercise!) with no small animals (chasing is SO FUN!) and no small children (same reason). She loves to go on daily walks, is great with other dogs and will do well in a home with a canine sibling. As a family dog, Fleur would do best with kids over the age of 8. She is a bit too interested in the shop kitties at her foster home and likes to herd them back if they get too close to the door. A home without cats is recommended. Fleur is very intelligent and enjoys learning tricks and working food puzzles. As a young dog, an active family that will continue with her training is ideal.

Charley loves everyone — people, children, older adults, and other dogs. He has never met a stranger. If you’re running for office, Charley would happily help you campaign because he’d make friends with the whole neighborhood in no time. He would fit beautifully into a busy home, greeting visitors with a happy tail wag and a friendly hello. He would also be just as content in a quieter home where he can be someone’s devoted companion.
