Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. This is something that will need continuous work to be corrected.

Story
Tippy is whip-smart, curious, and friendly with high intelligence shining through that just happens to have a moderate neurological condition that makes her a certified 'wobble-dog'. She's got plenty of energy and a silly, independent streak that keeps life interesting. Watching Tippy navigate her world with determination and confidence is genuinely inspiring. Her condition is well-managed with an affordable medication (less than $20 per month) that helps tame her tremors. Beyond that, Tippy is a healthy, happy dog who simply needs some minor accommodations to help her live her best life. Tippy needs a home that can provide some simple modifications to keep her safe and comfortable: Nonslip mats or rugs on slick floors to give her better traction Raised food and water bowls to make eating and drinking easier Baby gates to block off stairs (she shouldn't navigate stairs unsupervised) A ground-level living space works best for her Safety Notes: Tippy cannot swim, so pools, lakes, and deep water should be avoided or carefully managed She does best in environments where she can move confidently without too many obstacles Medical Care: Affordable monthly medication (estimated under $20/month) Regular vet check-ups to monitor her condition Tippy would thrive with an adopter who: Appreciates her unique personality and doesn't see her condition as a limitation Can provide the simple accommodations she needs to navigate safely Has the energy to keep up with her curious, active nature Values intelligence and independence in a dog Understands that "special needs" doesn't mean "less capable" Can commit to her medication routine and vet care Tippy proves that different doesn't mean less. She's loyal, loving, smart, and fully capable of being an amazing companion. The accommodations she needs are simple and affordable, and in return, you get a dog with incredible spirit, determination, and personality. Tippy will teach you about resilience, joy, and living life on your own terms. She doesn't let anything hold her back, and she'll inspire you to do the same.

Story
This is Alfredo, he's 2 years old and is a very energetic and smart dog. He loves having room to run and sniff at fence edges. We got him from a shelter a few months ago when we were in a good spot financially to keep our other dog company. They have been getting along great but unfortunately some issues(unrelated to the dogs) have popped up and we can no longer care for them to the extent we should be. He's very food motivated and we think he can be trained quickly, all though we have not tried to yet. He's mostly an outdoor dog(we bring them in at night) but loves cuddles so he can adjust to indoor or safe(shade, fresh water and rain-proof areas) outdoor spaces. Not the best fit for a house with any rodent pets, but I have not seen him interact with cats. We have a unopened, 47lb bag of his food that can go with him. We also need to rehome Chalupa(Shepard Mix)and would love if someone could take them both in, please mention it in the message if you can.
