Story
We rescued Odysseus from the shelter as a puppy. As he grew he became more loving and playful but also destructive. Hes gotten better over the past year but still has his impulsive movements. He does have an anxiety around dogs he hasn’t met. As a puppy he was chill when meeting other dogs but after a little while he started to pull and yelp at his legs endlessly when seeing another dog. He has to get to that dog in his head so you have to distract him and food doesn’t really work in this situation. I feel that he’s getting depressed though. I don’t think he’s getting the amount of work or play as he want to and I want him to have a home where he can run free and herd like he wants to. He’s been in touch with his Herding nature since he was a baby. He tries to heard everything. It’s adorable. I just feel so bad and I want to get him in a home where he’ll be happy and will be able to run free. And get him the training that he needs to be able to be out and about. We can’t afford that.

Graham a 12 month old border collie mix who came to us as a four month old St Bernard/Pyr blend .We officially DNA him Because we honestly didn’t know what he was! He's a happy puppy, full of energy looking for that forever home. Would do best in an adult home with older children, good with other dogs as well. Rescued by national St Bernard rescue foundation. Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

Opi (rhymes with Poppy) is an incredibly sweet, friendly energetic young border collie/shepherd mix. She has one brown and one ice blue eye. She has been training to be a service dog, unfortunately she is simply too friendly. She’s never met anyone she doesn’t want to be friends with which is a ‘no no’ for service dogs. She thrives when she has a job to do and would be ideal in an active family with lots of activities. She is extremely smart and trains easily. She would do best with a large yard/land to roam and work on.
