Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Maisy is generally a very sweet girl, but she is a working breed and full of energy that I'm now less able to take care of. She's about 4-5 years old. I got her 2.5 years ago from a cousin who found her on the side of the road, untagged, but they weren't able to keep her. She loves squeaky toys, playing fetch, walks and car rides. At the time I got her I only had a cat who she loves to chase and he tolerates her. Since then I've adopted another dog, and while 99% of the time they get along great, every once in a while there will be a moment of high excitement or over-stimulation that sets Maisy off. Also, being a herding dog she fixates on my young nieces and nephews when they play, trying to herd them and the high energy play, and screaming clearly gets her amped up and I have to restrain her before she gets too into it.She is such a sweet girl that I would hate to put her into a shelter, that would be a terrible place for her personality, but she just can't fit in my family anymore.

Story
Max is a 5-month-old puppy with a friendly and playful personality. He enjoys playing, being around people, and has lots of energy. He is current on his rabies vaccination, deworming, and flea/tick prevention (Bravecto). He has not bitten anyone and is still young, so he will continue to benefit from training and socialization. I am looking for a loving, stable home where he will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and patience as he grows. This decision is due to changes in my family circumstances and is not because of any fault of Max's. He deserves a family that can give him the time and consistency he needs.

Dora is the best dog and a perfectly lovely girl in all respects. She came from a terrible background and nearly froze to death before she was saved from a very high kill shelter. Today, she's all smiles all the time, romping and playing with her many friends at Dogtown Ranch while she waits for her perfect family to come along. Could that be you? Call us today and let's put Dora under your Christmas tree...you couldn't find a better dog to join the family and raise kids with. Story
This tiny puppy is part of Vireya’s litter of seven, born just 4 days ago after their family was found in a pile of rubble. They are currently healthy and safe in mom’s care, and are still fully dependent on her for nursing and warmth. Vireya is an incredibly devoted mother who has been caring for her babies nonstop since birth. Because the puppies are so young, they must remain with mom, and are only being considered for a foster home willing to take the entire family together. This little one isn’t available separately—this is a mom-and-babies foster placement to give them the safest start possible.

These pups are in Georgetown, Texas too!

Story
He was found in a dumpster with his siblings and was adopted by us shortly after from the shelter. Very hyper active, and has extreme chewing and what I consider pica. Eats any toy we give him, any furniture he’s around including walls and window edges. I want him to go to someone who knows how to handle extreme behavior like this, because we are at our wits end as renters. Other than his behavioral issues he’s a sweet and loving dog who is very gentle with our cat. Has never shown aggression to people or other animals he has met. Can be a bit skiddish at first but always comes around to wanting to make a new friend.

Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. Story
Cookie is a sweet and easygoing Heeler/Lab mix who loves being around people. She bonds quickly and becomes very attached to her person, following them almost everywhere she goes. Cookie is calm, gentle, and enjoys playing with other dogs, and she is also wonderful with kids. She walks beautifully on a leash, does well with potty training when taken outside regularly, and does fine in her kennel. Cookie can become anxious when separated from her people and may jump fences to try to get back to them. When she is with her people, though, she settles and stays close by. She would thrive in a home where someone is around often and can give her the companionship and connection she loves so much. Cookie is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. You can apply directly for Cookie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-837
