Story
This is Alfredo, he's 2 years old and is a very energetic and smart dog. He loves having room to run and sniff at fence edges. We got him from a shelter a few months ago when we were in a good spot financially to keep our other dog company. They have been getting along great but unfortunately some issues(unrelated to the dogs) have popped up and we can no longer care for them to the extent we should be. He's very food motivated and we think he can be trained quickly, all though we have not tried to yet. He's mostly an outdoor dog(we bring them in at night) but loves cuddles so he can adjust to indoor or safe(shade, fresh water and rain-proof areas) outdoor spaces. Not the best fit for a house with any rodent pets, but I have not seen him interact with cats. We have a unopened, 47lb bag of his food that can go with him. We also need to rehome Chalupa(Shepard Mix)and would love if someone could take them both in, please mention it in the message if you can.

Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. This is something that will need continuous work to be corrected.

Dora is the best dog and a perfectly lovely girl in all respects. She came from a terrible background and nearly froze to death before she was saved from a very high kill shelter. Today, she's all smiles all the time, romping and playing with her many friends at Dogtown Ranch while she waits for her perfect family to come along. Could that be you? Call us today and let's put Dora under your Christmas tree...you couldn't find a better dog to join the family and raise kids with. Dora is like living with a happily ever after Disney movie.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Story
Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart. If you’re ready for a devoted shadow who will follow you from the garden to the couch, look no further — Paco is ready to love you for life. Paco is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is not available for transport out of state. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
