Story
Tippy is whip-smart, curious, and full of personality. She happens to have mild brain damage that makes her a certified "wobble dog," but her condition doesn't slow her down. Watching her navigate the world with confidence and determination is truly inspiring. Tippy thrives with affordable medication (under $20/month) and a few easy accommodations: nonslip rugs, raised food bowls, baby gates for stairs, and a ground-level living space. She cannot swim, so pools and deep water should be avoided. Tippy needs someone who appreciates her intelligence and independent spirit, can provide simple safety modifications, and understands that "special needs" doesn't mean "less capable." She's active, curious, and ready to keep up with an owner who values her unique personality. Different doesn't mean less. Tippy is loyal, loving, and fully capable of being an incredible companion. The accommodations are simple, but the rewards are endless. She'll teach you about resilience, joy, and living life without limits. Tippy doesn't let anything hold her back, and she'll inspire you to do the same.

Story
Meet Pickles — your future cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and loyal best friend all rolled into one! Pickles is a smart, affectionate girl who absolutely lives for being close to her people. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll happily climb right into your lap (yes, all of her!) and shower you with love. She’s great with kids, though due to her enthusiastic “snuggle tackles,” supervision with smaller kiddos is recommended. This girl is the total package when it comes to brains and trainability. Pickles is incredibly smart and very treat-motivated — which means training with her is actually fun. She already knows sit, down, up, shake, and heel, and while her “stay” is still a work in progress, she’s eager to learn and picks things up quickly (especially if snacks are involved!). Pickles enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well in daycare and boarding, but she prefers smaller groups and slow introductions. She can be a bit of a playful pest with smaller dogs, so a home that understands her social style will be a great fit. If you’re looking for a walking partner, Pickles is ready! Weather doesn’t faze her — rain or shine, she’s always up for an adventure and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s also house-trained and kennel-trained, making her an easy addition to a structured home. Pickles has a few quirks that make her all the more lovable — she’s a digger, a bit of a talker, and will definitely let you know when someone’s at the door or when you’ve made it home. She’s loyal to her core and naturally protective of her people. Because of her past, Pickles may need a little extra patience when warming up to some men. She may bark and keep her distance at first, but with time, understanding, and (you guessed it) treats, she can learn to feel safe and secure. Pickles is looking for a loving, active family who will give her the time, structure, and affection she deserves. In return, she’ll give you endless loyalty, laughter, and all the cuddles you could ever want. Ready to meet your new best friend? Pickles is waiting! 🐾

Story
Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

Story
bubba Is a one year old male, fixed. lots of energy so he needs a lot of physical activity (walks, attention, chew toys). He is super friendly and loves children, as well as playing. He would make a great companion as he's a Velcro dog who loves to cuddle. While he is mostly potty trained and crate trained, he still has reoccurring issues with marking inside. We bought some diapers for him that actually do work very well, but its only a bandaid for the actual issue. Bubba would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a reason to be more active, or wants a dog that is happy, and eager to learn.

Story
Dora is the best dog and a perfectly lovely girl in all respects. She came from a terrible background and nearly froze to death before she was saved from a very high kill shelter. Today, she's all smiles all the time, romping and playing with her many friends at Dogtown Ranch while she waits for her perfect family to come along. Could that be you? Call us today and let's put Dora under your Christmas tree...you couldn't find a better dog to join the family and raise kids with. Dora is like living with a happily ever after Disney movie.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am
