Lacey is an easygoing gal who’s come a long way after being abandoned in Ellis County. These days, she’s all about the good life—cozy beds, her favorite people, and playtime with her dog friends. Sweet, resilient, and full of quiet gratitude, Lacey is ready to settle into a home where she can finally feel safe and loved. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. . Story
Faith. Oh boy, what a deal this little sweetheart is. Found as a stray, she is being fostered in a home with five perfectly trained agility Aussies, and they are teaching her all kinds of good manners and how to be the perfect dog for someone. Of course we think she was that anyway, especially if you love the velcro kind that will not leave your side and just love to snuggle. When she is not doing that, Faith enjoys playing with her Aussie friends, she loves toys, loves to swim and even loves cats. Can it get any better? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Chesney was abandoned puppy at an elderly womans house who rescued dogs but could not keep him. She believed he was border collie mix. We took him in as we had a need for a border collie to help with cows as our ranch dog was elderly. For the last 2 years he has been great not so much herding though he has the instinct he doesn't like the job. He is very social and our neighbors encouraged him to play with their dogs when he wandered one day & that started the problem. We are on 30 acres and now he refuses to stay home. He wants someone to pay him attention & we are afraid he will get hit by a car or end up on a ranch where he could be hurt by another animal doing his job. He loves kids & other dogs! I am unsure about cats but he was caught chasing one on another property recently probably to play but unsure. We love him but it is no longer safe & we now have to keep him chained up as he refuses to stay home.We have 2 hunting dogs,he gets along great. He is social & needs a good home.

Story
Henry came to us as a young pup and was diagnosed with Megaesophagus. You can see by looking at him that it does not slow him down. The absolute only thing different between him and any other dog is that he has to eat on two feet. Everything else is normal. Eating on 4 feet is not an option for him. However, he can drink and have treats on 4. He is crate, house trained, and doggie door trained. He gets along well with all size of dogs as he has several foster siblings. He is very loving and affectionate and believe it or not is sensitive. When researching this condition, ask questions as not all cases are the same. His foster has had two different ME dogs and both are very different. He needs that special person who will look after him and make sure he stays and healthy and happy as he is now. He would love to have a playmate too.

These pups are in Corsicana, Texas too!

Story
This sweet girl is Ariel. She is approximately 7 months old and will be receiving a spay shortly. We found her in the woods and took her in. She has been raised on the farm with dogs of all sizes, cats and kittens, chickens, turkeys, goats and donkeys. She is GREAT with all of them. We are looking for a home that she can not only have room to play and run with others, but to have a family that will spend time with her inside as well. She will be fully vetted within a few weeks, so we are offering her up for preadoption. We are located in Corsicana, just 45 minutes south of Dallas. Please let us know if you would like more information about this little sweetheart. Have a blessed day!
