Story
Sweet Cherie Miel wants to be your sweetie! She will brighten any home with her joie de vivre. Cherie is approximately 9-10 months old, weighs just shy of 50 lbs. and has a silky single coat that makes her a breeze to groom. She is friendly and gentle with all ages - adults & children, dog friendly, well-mannered in house, fully crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, enjoys car rides, and enjoys getting out with her people for new adventures whether it's a walk in the park or visiting a dog-friendly venue & meeting new people. She, however, does show slight prey interest towards cats so currently is not recommended for a cat-friendly home. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Their journey began when their parents, Millie and Brownie, were found living at a local farmers market. Residents told us they had been surviving there for at least two weeks, and we were asked to step in and help. We hired a professional trapper, safely brought them into our rescue, and thought everyone was finally safe. Then came the surprise... 4 boys 3 Girls Millie was pregnant! Which she was schedule for a spay on June 25th Just a short time later, she welcomed this beautiful litter into the world. Simply include the name of the puppy you're interested in on your application. About Mom & Dad Brownie (Dad) has already been neutered, fully vetted, and is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. Story
Meet Zoey! Zoey is a 2-year-old Border Collie with a heart as big as her energy level! This happy girl absolutely adores everyone she meets and is always ready to make a new friend. One of Zoey’s favorite ways to show affection is by giving gentle hugs — she does still jump up on people sometimes, but it’s all out of love, and most people can’t help but find it adorable. Her foster family is continuing to work with her on keeping all four paws on the ground.Zoey is playful, outgoing, and full of fun. She plays HARD and would thrive in an active home that can match her enthusiasm for life. Her favorite game is herding her foster dog siblings around the yard, which means she can sometimes be a little nippy during play as part of her natural herding instincts. Because of this, she would do best with a playful, energetic dog companion who enjoys rough-and-rowdy fun as much as she does.Despite all her energy, Zoey is an incredibly sweet and happy girl. She is not aggressive with people or dogs and is not destructive in the home. She is house trained, crate trained, and great with kids. She’s also working on improving her leash skills.Zoey is looking for an active family who will embrace her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the love and exercise she craves. If you’re searching for a loyal adventure buddy with endless affection to give, Zoey may be your perfect match! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
