Story
Max is a purebred Border Collie and is registered with the American Border Collie Association. Originally he was with a family in Rice, Tx. They were giving him away because they were moving out of state. We got him up-to-date on vaccines, got him groomed (professionally), and begun spoiling him. However, just recently we learned that one of the kids in the home haw a severe dog allergy, now we are having to rehome our dogs that are heavy shedders. He LOVES to play fetch and usually stays in the yard. He is FAST! I have never seen him go after any other dogs, neighborhood stray cats, or livestock. He honestly would LOVE to have a job to do. We are only asking for the minimum amount of money we have invested in him, and it's negotiable. We can give a gallon sized zip lock bag of his current food for transitioning and we can even give a wire dog kennel (a little rusted but still has plenty of life).

Story
Meet Summer! Howdy, they call me Summer because I bring the sunshine, happiness and laughter to every party! I am 1 year old and I love like there is no tomorrow and am as gentle as you need me to be. When my foster family first said yes to me, they had zero clue just how sick I really was, because I showed as little as possible that side of me. And showed them nothing but the happy, grateful, playful side of me. If that gives you any idea of how laid back temperament wise I am. Ideally I would love to find an active family or adult who will give me endless car rides if they like, or all the cuddles and wiggly butt smiles they can take, or what ever adventure they may have in mind.I do have a lot of energy, but if you aren’t as energetic that is okay too! I LOVE CATCH!!!!! I light up when you throw a ball for me and I will come rushing back to drop the ball back near your feet. I am that girl! So have no fear of your lifestyle with me, as long as you can love me and throw me balls galore; we should be loving life to the fullest. I can’t wait to meet you and until then my foster mom and Nona are taking really good care of me. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Cody is a handsome Labrador/Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a passion for the great outdoors! He’s happiest when he's rolling in the grass, exploring new places, and soaking up belly rubs from his favorite people.Cody would thrive in a home with plenty of outdoor space and an active family who will include him in their adventures. He’s currently living in a multi-dog foster home, where he has made great canine friends. While we’re unsure how he does with young kids under 5 or cats, we anticipate older children would be a great match for his energy. This sweet older adult still has plenty of love to give and is looking for a forever family to share in his adventures and snuggles.✅ Neutered✅ Vaccinated✅ Heartworm negative✅ MicrochippedReady to meet Cody? Fill out our application at www.shelter2rescue.org, and let’s set up a time for you to meet this special boy! Story
Finn is a sweetie that I agreed to foster and then got attached to. Finn definitely wants to be a lap dog. He loves attention, people, play, running/chase, jumping (he possibly could be competitive 🤣 he can jump quite high), tug, and water/puddles! He gets along GREAT with other dogs. He gets along pretty well with my older cat, but it took some time. He is crate trained and fully housebroken. As for some of his not-great behavior, I would classify him as reactive. He needs obedience training, which I don't have the finances for, but I know he would benefit from. The other thing is that he has a strong prey instinct with a tendency to chase or snap at smaller animals that aren't dogs. Ideally, Finn can live with a family that has other dogs he can play with and lots of time and space to run off his high energy! My kids and I will miss him, but we just aren't the right fit and can't meet all of his needs.
