Story
Sylvie is a border collie mix. The other breed may be a blue healer due to coloring. She is 4 years old, eager to learn new things, and super sweet. I rescued her from a woman that did not feed her so there is a small food aggression that has been greatly corrected. Sylvie needs to eat without other dogs nearby. Sylvie needs someone that can spend time with her and play. Her favorite game is fetch and will play for a very long time. Sylvie is beautiful inside and out. I have taught her a few things but do not have the energy to keep up with her due to my age, tending a disabled son, and working full time.My spouse recently passed away and I will need to move and cannot take her with me. She has been raised around an older dog. They play together well. She is very gentle with children and loves the attention. I think her favorite thing is giving hugs and kisses.

Story
Meet Zoey! Zoey is a 2-year-old Border Collie with a heart as big as her energy level! This happy girl absolutely adores everyone she meets and is always ready to make a new friend. One of Zoey’s favorite ways to show affection is by giving gentle hugs — she does still jump up on people sometimes, but it’s all out of love, and most people can’t help but find it adorable. Her foster family is continuing to work with her on keeping all four paws on the ground.Zoey is playful, outgoing, and full of fun. She plays HARD and would thrive in an active home that can match her enthusiasm for life. Her favorite game is herding her foster dog siblings around the yard, which means she can sometimes be a little nippy during play as part of her natural herding instincts. Because of this, she would do best with a playful, energetic dog companion who enjoys rough-and-rowdy fun as much as she does.Despite all her energy, Zoey is an incredibly sweet and happy girl. She is not aggressive with people or dogs and is not destructive in the home. She is house trained, crate trained, and great with kids. She’s also working on improving her leash skills.Zoey is looking for an active family who will embrace her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the love and exercise she craves. If you’re searching for a loyal adventure buddy with endless affection to give, Zoey may be your perfect match! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
“These dogs were originally kept as puppies when we found them, but they have grown into large young adults and now require more space and resources than I can reasonably provide. My yard is no longer adequate for their size and activity level, and I want to ensure they have the room, attention, and quality of life they deserve. This decision is being made in their best interest so they can find homes better suited to their needs.”

Story
We adopted Charlie from Weatherford animal shelter July 11th. They took him in as a stray on June 11th. He appears to have a dry skin issue that should be fixed with diet. Sadly, one of our dogs does not like him and we are afraid there could be aggression issues (from our dog to him, he is not aggressive at all). Charlie is a very sweet dog who loves people, other dogs, and playing. We are working on getting him crate trained and learning basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.,). He is very cuddly, playful, and nice. He has marked a couple times in the house, but nothing major. He is learning to use the bell on our door to go potty. He has tried to hump one of our female dogs while playing, but it is not seeming like it will be an issue. He is great with both of our dogs (Husky, Golden Retriever), and very gentle with treats. He has a tendency to try to eat other dogs food, but we believe this is due to being underweight.
