You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.She is Xena The Warrior PrincessXena was born approximately July 15, 2021.  She is a GORGEOUS Border Collie/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix or Tri-Colored Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Her personality is true to her breed! Xena's foster mom and dad have 3 other dogs that she likes to play with and share toys with, but she has also learned to be by herself.  Her foster mom says she needs an active family with another dog or multiple dogs. Xena needs room to run to get her energy out.  She likes going for long walks and exploring the wilderness. Xena sleeps with her foster mom and dad in bed with all the other dogs. It gets a bit crowded but she does love sleeping with the pack. This makes her feel safe. Xena does not like to be in a kennel or crate.  So, a family that is at home would be ideal.She likes eating ice cubes!  Xena says 'When mom gives me fresh water in a bowl she puts in extra ice cubes for me. That makes me feel special and loved.'  Xena loves riding in a vehicle and knows not to jump around and act like a baby.She can walk on a leash pretty well as long as she has her harness on; Xena is not a fan of collars. She also knows a few commands like “stay”, “no” and “potty”.Xena will bark at strangers until she gets to know them.  Her foster dad has taught her to fetch.  She loves chasing the ball and bringing it back, it’s the letting it go part that she has a hard time with BECAUSE she also loves to play tug of war.  Xena is also a fan of the Laser Light.  She thinks they are fascinating!Xena is Special Needs because if and when she gets too excited she has seizures.  The vet attributes this to a blow to the head as a puppy.  Therefore, she needs to be in a home that understands how to deal with occasional seizures.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 7:32 pm

Little Miss Daisy Mae is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a whole lot of love to give! This sweet, affectionate girl seems to think everyone she meets is a friend, whether they have two legs or four. She loves dogs, cats, and humans of all sizes, and if you happen to be sitting down, she may just decide your lap is the perfect place to be. She'll gently place her front paws on you, lean in for a hug, and wiggle her way closer for some extra affection. Personal space? No such thing!Daisy loves to run and play with her canine friends, but she's also wonderfully easygoing and happy to let the other dogs take the lead. She's gentle when taking treats and is already learning her manners, including sit and down. This smart girl is eager to learn and has made impressive progress in just a few short weeks.Rescued from a shelter on October 4, Daisy may not have had much experience living indoors before, but she's catching on beautifully! As of October 24, she's pretty well potty trained and crate trained, and she's discovering the fun of playing with toys. She's still learning her leash manners and will need a family willing to help her learn not to pull. Daisy also likes to stay close to her people, sometimes so close that she accidentally gets underfoot. Hopefully, as she grows, she'll learn to give her humans just a little more room to walk!We're not sure exactly what this adorable girl is mixed with. A cattle dog and smooth collie are possibilities, but Daisy Mae is keeping her family tree a mystery for now! We estimate she was born in early January 2026, which would make her just under 10 months old in late October. She's currently around 36 pounds and has gained 5 pounds since coming into our care on October 4.
