Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. She is Xena The Warrior PrincessXena was born approximately July 15, 2021.  She is a GORGEOUS Border Collie/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix or Tri-Colored Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Her personality is true to her breed! Xena's foster mom and dad have 3 other dogs that she likes to play with and share toys with, but she has also learned to be by herself.  Her foster mom says she needs an active family with another dog or multiple dogs. Xena needs room to run to get her energy out.  She likes going for long walks and exploring the wilderness. Xena sleeps with her foster mom and dad in bed with all the other dogs. It gets a bit crowded but she does love sleeping with the pack. This makes her feel safe. Xena does not like to be in a kennel or crate.  So, a family that is at home would be ideal. She likes eating ice cubes!  Xena says 'When mom gives me fresh water in a bowl she puts in extra ice cubes for me. That makes me feel special and loved.'  Xena loves riding in a vehicle and knows not to jump around and act like a baby. She can walk on a leash pretty well as long as she has her harness on; Xena is not a fan of collars. She also knows a few commands like “stay”, “no” and “potty”.Xena will bark at strangers until she gets to know them.  Her foster dad has taught her to fetch.  She loves chasing the ball and bringing it back, it’s the letting it go part that she has a hard time with BECAUSE she also loves to play tug of war.  Xena is also a fan of the Laser Light.  She thinks they are fascinating!Xena is Special Needs because if and when she gets too excited she has seizures.  The vet attributes this to a blow to the head as a puppy.  Therefore, she needs to be in a home that understands how to deal with occasional seizures.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 7:32 pm

Story
Champ is a fun loving dog with a personality as big as his ears—seriously, they could be goal posts for a football team! He loves chasing toys and, in true Champ fashion, will toss them in the air with pure joy. His playful nature shines when he’s with other dogs, always eager for fun. But he also has an affectionate side; and when you want to chill he’ll happily settle by your feet, content to chew on his favorite toy while staying close. Champ’s playful nature and loving heart make him a perfect friend to have by your side.   To learn more or to meet Champ call 281-339-2086 any day except Wednesday between 11AM and 5PM or you can fill in an app at https://bayareapetadoptions.org/adoption-application/ ##2196523##

Story
Benji is 11 year old. I adopted him from a shelter. I've had him since he was a puppy. He is easy going and get along with other cats and dogs. When on a leash he does bark at other pets, but he's just excited and wanted to say hi. He does get very anxious to loud sounds like raining, thunderstorm, fireworks or smoke detector and smoke detector battery low. He would hide in tight spaces and scratch at the ground non-stop. This is the biggest reason why I have decided to re-home him. He has this anxiety behaviors since he was young. Due to my recent relocating, I am unable to care for his needs. He is looking for a home that has the patience, care and compassion for his behaviors. Please reach out if you are that family for him.

Story
Belle was living in a kennel on an abandoned property when we took her in. From the very beginning, she was gentle and affectionate with our children and already knew a few basic commands. She needed a little time to adjust to our two male dogs after coming home with us, but she warmed up to them quickly and now does great with them.Since joining our family, Belle has proven to be incredibly smart and eager to learn. She has quickly picked up commands like “crate,” “go to bed,” “off,” and “drop it.” She has also been fully vetted — spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.Belle does struggle with storm anxiety and prefers to stay close to her person when she senses bad weather coming, but otherwise she is a loving, loyal, and wonderful dog.

Story
Hi friends, I’m Danny! I’m a sweet, lovable good boy who’s ready to find my forever family! I’m great with kids, good with other dogs, and I love being around people. I’m potty trained and kennel trained, so I already know a lot of my good boy manners! I’m still working on my leash training, but I’m trying my best and learning more every day. I already know how to sit on command too! One of the best things about me is that I’ll match the energy around me — if you want to play and have fun, I’m ready! If you want to relax and cuddle, I’m happy to do that too. I just love being with my people. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who’s eager to learn and full of love, I might be your perfect match!

Story
Hi friends, I’m Mila! I’m an amazing girl with a sweet heart — I can just be a little nervous when meeting new people at first. I really just need someone patient and kind who’s willing to take the time to get to know me and let me build trust at my own pace. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my loving personality starts to shine through. I’m good on a leash, kennel trained, and currently working hard on my potty training every day. I may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but I promise I’m worth it. All I really want is someone who will give me a chance and love me for who I am. If you’re looking for a gentle companion to bond with and grow alongside, I’d love to meet you!
