Her unknown past has taught her she needs to do the getting before they get her. Because she is so well mannered she's not reactive as long as the dogs don't come up to her. This means you can still enjoy calm walks without her barking or lunging. She'd thrive the most as an only child. As long as she gets regular walks she can thrive in any environment. Kids quick unexpected movements makes me nervous so I cling to the humans I know and try to get away from the tiny humans. Sweetest boy you’ve ever met, absolute cuddle bug who’ just wants quality time with his people. Loves spending time with his humans on or off the couch, loves trail walking and the dog park, great with kids and loves human attention. Is happiest when he’s hiking on a trail with his people. Good with other dogs but wouldn’t trust him with cats. House trained, has basic dog training, is smart as a whip and VERY eager to please when food is involved. Has some medical issues that are fairly simple to manage - special no fat diet and no human food whatsoever- but otherwise is happy and active. One of the most lovable dogs I’ve ever met and have had the pleasure of raising for years. Unfortunately I’m going through some life transitions that make me unable to pay him enough attention and would love to find him a home that can treat him like the prince he is. He really is beyond precious to me, and I really hope to find someone who’d love him as much as I do.
