Story
Champ is a beautiful 'red' Border Collie that will make a great pet. He is house, kennel and leash trained. Totally fine with cats, horses and all dogs. He's a year and a half old and less than 40 lbs.Champ will take a while to trust a new person, but he is well worth it! The less people in the home the better. A busy home would make him nervous. We want him to have another dog or dogs in his next home as well as a fenced yard is required.Champ is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is only $250 to approved home. Please go to sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application for Champ! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.August 31, 2026, 4:24 am

Story
I found Loki at the beginning of August 2025. He was just a puppy. I lived in the desert at the time. It was 107° outside and I could not leave him out there. He is sweet, friendly, loves all people, children and adults. He also loves all other dogs. He has never been aggressive towards anything. He loves to play. He has some separation anxiety and tends to attach himself to a specific person. I had to move from a house to an apartment. He needs more attention and obedience training thanni can give him. I live with my daughter and my 5 month old granddaughter. The situation is creating a really bad relationship issue betweem myself and my daughter, especially with the small apartment living. Loki is so sweet and loving but tends to be a little rambunctious at times. I can't stand the thought of him being locked in a cage. He would be so happy to be around other people and dogs. I just want him to be happy and as unconfused as possible. Thank you for your time!

Story
Alder is basically the dog version of an introvert. Quiet, gentle, low-key, and completely content doing his own thing, Alder is one of the easiest and lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is around a year old and was originally labeled as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was younger and still looked like a generic puppy. But now that he is older, it is very obvious that he is not a pittie and instead looks much more like a Border Collie mix. Alder is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and also great with cats. He peacefully coexists with everyone but honestly doesn’t care much about joining the chaos or playing constantly. He prefers to quietly exist nearby and observe the world at his own pace. He is shy and hesitant with new people at first, but there is not an ounce of aggression in him. He is simply a soft, sensitive dog who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, Alder is incredibly easy to live with. He is not demanding, not hyper, not loud, and not needy. He is the type of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily life without bringing chaos into it. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, quiet, low-maintenance companion who does not need constant stimulation or activity to be happy. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Jazzy is the kind of dog who brings energy and happiness into your life—without overwhelming it. She’s playful, friendly, and fun, but also has an independent side that makes her easy to live with. Her past isn’t pretty—but you’d never know it. Jazzy is social and confident, great with dogs of all sizes and cats, and naturally fits into whatever environment she’s in. She’ll happily join in on playtime, go on walks, or even randomly take a dip in the pond—then settle down like it’s no big deal. She’s affectionate without being clingy and has that ideal balance people are always looking for but rarely find. Good fit: someone who wants a fun, social dog that adds energy and joy to daily life without being overwhelming or demanding. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Story
WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
We “life boated" Tilly in when her owner, my Aunt died. We have attempted to find a suitable home with no success. Tilly is a very bright, high energy dog. We say she “needs a job” to burn off some of her innate energy. She knows the Sit, Stay, Come commands. Tilly shows signs of field work with the understanding of the “Go-Out” command. She has been exposed to horses and goats which she tries to herd through the fence that borders the fenced backyard. The are 3 other dogs in the household. One of which exhibits aggression issues. For Tilly’s safety she and the other dogs need to be kept separated. keeping Tilly long term is simply not realistic.
