Story
Miguel is my best friend and I am heartbroken to say goodbye to him. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he is now 5 years old. He LOVES to cuddle, is great with children but gets overly excited during crazy play time so sometimes needs to be put inside during outside play/dancing/crazy times. He alert barks when new people enter the home, which can be startling for those that don't know dogs but his tail wags the whole time and he would never and has never hurt another human or animal. He is not aggressive he just takes 30 seconds to adjust to new people. Likes cats but cats don't always like him because he's so curious. He has lived with them before though. Loves small and older dogs. Can be great with any dogs, again just can take time for them to figure out their dynamics. Needs some work on leash training but not horrible, just gets overly excited when seeing other dogs on walks but getting better at not being reactionary with lots of good treats. *LOVES* balls and fetch.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. Story
Meet Lily! Lily is an 11-month-old spayed Border Collie mix who's ready to find an active family to call her own! She's up to date on her vaccinations and has all the energy, intelligence, and enthusiasm you'd expect from a young Border Collie mix. Lily does well with other large dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion her size. Because she has a strong prey drive, she'll need a home without cats or small dogs. She'll thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued training to keep both her mind and body engaged. In return, Lily will reward you with loyalty, fun, and endless adventure. If you're looking for a smart, active companion to join you on hikes, walks, and everyday adventures, Lily may be the perfect match!
